Reading that Sheffield United thread got me thinking, what was the story with that time during a game at somewhere in the west country, every single motorway sign got the 'BFC' spray paint treatment.

No names no pack drill obviously, although suspect the statute of limitations on criminal damage has passed, this would have been early 80's, I think you could see it on some for years afterwards.

Driving into Shrewsbury recently, and saw a 'CFC Boot Boys' on a bridge that must have been there from at least 87ish.

This post in no way condones mindless vandalism.

"Why Sack Dodgin" was up for a loonnnggg time.

Or the RIP wall on the High Street in '77 where each celebrity death was crossed out as a new one kicked the bucket.

There's a bridge on the Central Line, right near Shepherds Bush which used to have a huge "Brentford" painted on it - in 5 foot high letters.
It was there for years and must have really plssed off those hoops t0ssers everytime they went on the tube to Loftus Road.

Also, when we won the league in 92, every roadsign, lampost and streetname sign near Harlington Road in Hillingdon had "BFC Champs 92" scrawled on it in thick black marker pen. :sorted::wave:

Yes - I remember that being there for years and years - underneath the Westway, I think.

Recently been defaced by some scamps with their 'tags' or whatever the youngsters call their inane and pathetic doodling nowadays.

I went to West Berlin before the wall came down and it was covered in Graffiti. One bit did make me smile. In big red letters was sprayed 'England won the war'. Not Brentford i know, but slightly rubbing their noses in it.

Saw some random graffiti in Macclesfield on Saturday.
Sprayed on to some back walls of an old industrial building was 'ITFC'. On the other wall was Ipswich Town 1978 1-0 Roger Osborne' in 3ft high letters.

Someone scrawled Brentford in every single toilet at Loftus Road in the late 80s whilst on work experience. BFC wouldnt do as that could have been Barnsley, Blackpool, Barnet etc..

If I find anyone perpetrating graffitti in TW8 on my watch I shall personally garote them and stick their crayons, aerosols whatever up their proverbial....

If you know any 'taggers' in TW8 let me know their addresses and I'll see how they like it :)

I remember a bit of graffiti by the corner of Selby Road and Pitshanger Lane in Ealing? It seemed to be there for years, around the early 1980s. Daubed in big white letters on a fence:

BRENTFORD - KICK TO KILL

Anyone else remember? I loved it as a kid.
