Is that our old Rowan Alexander managing them?

If so, looking at his record, I wouldn't mind him back here if/when MA moves on!

Always thought he was a good, hard working player for us. Had a pretty good jump for a wee fella from what I can remember too.

Incredible to think that Gretna were losing to someone like Carlisle in the first round of the FA cup only four years ago. Now they are ninety mins away from UEFA cup qualification.

if Hearts finish second, Gretna will be in Europe, no matter of the result.

Leicester.

Remember the game well. Weren't we 2 up and then they scored 4 goals. Lynex & a certain Mr Lineker got 2 a piece.

Also remember the 2nd leg when their so called Baby Squad gave it the large un outside the Brickies before the game

gonna get myself a few cup final tickets, walk down the road and support gretna for the day seeing as rowan has done a fine job

also its great to see teams other than the usual boring two up here making the headlines...this is good for football....long live hope instead of expectation!

Don't they average less than 1000/match? How many will they bring to cavernous Hampton Park?!?

It was more than half empty for the semi when they played Dundee there.

They took 6,000 to the semi. Expect them to pick up a few more (a la Glasgow Bee's post) and maybe 10,000+ to the final.

Hearts should sell 35,000+ so Hampden will be pretty full.

David Holdsworth is the assistant. Wasn't that Deano's brother ex-Watford?

Do they have a bit of money behind them?

From OS

It was testament to local businessman and managing director Brooks Mileson’s vision and substantial cash injection into the club which saw players of Premier League calibre turning out at Raydale Park.

In-fking-credible. Just over five years ago, this club were in the English non-league; sub-Conference level.

Not quite such good news. :nono: However they may get to play Rangers at some point in the UEFA Cup next season. :D
