Anyway Hosp in morning so must try to sleep but some of the ignorant vitriol on here will not make it easy.

And so much you don't know.
Of course there is, but that’s no different to anyone else who posts on here.
People can and will only react to what you post. Post crap and expect a reaction. Why would you expect anyone to respond in a way that specifically empathises with your own personal history or feelings which quite obviously they are not aware of.
Another reason to have a word with yourself.
Goodnight, sweet dreams x

It's a 1 dimensional medium. Morning all. Have a better day.

It doesnt need to have any more dimensions. Your actions with that ticket were incredibly selfish. Thousands wanted in that day, including some as long standing if not more so than yourself. People who loved GP as much as you. People who had the same emotions and memories as you about the place.

And you potentially deprived one of them a ticket due to your own silliness, what if that was the only chance one of the eldest of our fans had of seeing LR before passing away over the summer?

Mindblowing levels of selfishness.

So pleased it worked out for you.

At a loss what you are on about but it's eloquent. I just purchased my Valencia ticket but doesn't mean I will be able to make it
You were able to make the bournemouth and chose not to

Was I. I cried my eyes out that afternoon.
Yes. You said you were in the griffin and chose not to go because you were nearer Griffin park and the memories were too strong....something similar anyway, I tailed off a bit there cos it was total waffle what you said. Weirdo.

Choosing to stay away & cry in the pub, even weirder

😂😂😂😂 your right there. What a waste. The first coherent post youve written.

Your a strange cat mori . You write posts on a forum that get a rise out of others then write stuff like that or start to get on the defensive half mentioning things about you that nobody knows anything about to avoid the discussion or deter.

I think you do it deliberately to stoke the reaction & get a weird sense of fulfilment that you've done so.

Far from it. The human psyche is unique though not for me

mori, it is clear that you love GP and that the move to Lionel Road has really pulled at your heart strings. I can fully understand the emotions you feel as I to have made the decision not to go to the new season, however mine is due to distance, age and failing eyes sight which is a bit of an issue when careering down the A303 in the dark!!!

However you are local and can attend, it won’t be the home you are used to but, as others have alluded, it was a long way past it’s best days. It was tired and old, the facilities were awful and quite frankly if it was a pet it would have been put out of its misery years ago. You, like everyone else, will have some wonderful memories of the old girl, of friends and families that have shared the emotional roller coaster of supporting this great club.

You have an opportunity to create new memories in a stadium worthy of the club but there are many, Like my late Father, for whom that opportunity never arose. Instead of wallowing in a pit of self pity because the old girl has gone spare a thought for those that will never have the opportunity that you have and go and embrace the new world of Brentford in a brilliant stadium playing the top clubs in the country.

the time has come for you to stop living in the past and missing playing Workington on a cold winters night when it pissed down with rain and your feet were soaked if you dared go to the urinals!! Get over yourself stop moaning and get your backside down to Lionel Road, by seasons end I can guarantee you won’t be harking back to the good old days in a ramshackle stadium !!!!!
No need to never go again, I can give you a lift if you want. Ok, sometimes I stay up there to visit friends and family, but not always and I'm sure we can arrange at least 2 or 3 trips for you see the football a season. I like to leave very early, but we could have a spot of lunch up there, if you are able to go. Avoids all the rush and if there are traffic problems, we won't miss the game.

Let it go mate. Not worth it. It's another beautiful day out there. Just looked at the Onyeka highlights. We've got loads to look forward to at BCS. COYB's.
Life is too short, each to their own. Don’t know how long I’ve got left Newport, but I’m going out with a bang, just like i always said i would. I cant wait to get to the Bcs have some drinks and watch the club that i have loved watching for almost 60 years. This is going to bee some season.

Did you see what rubbish was written

You didnt help yourself mate.

You have your opinions, but its also fair to say the original post was always going to stir a response. Its your ticket yes, but if i was in the same boat i would have passed it on to a fan. Would have found loads on here last min who would have used it.

He'd have found at least a few dozen in the pub he was rubbing his eyes in that would have gratefully taken it off him.

Blimey this is all getting a bit abrasive! We're all on the same side, fellahs!! Sad GP has gone, it was a big part of my life, but no-body's died. And LR is a magnificent replacement, so why don't we all turn those negative vibes against those herberts from N7 and give them a right tonking on Friday 13th!
