Where’s old Bertie Puff Puff or whatever his name was with a bit of sawn off crash barrier in an attractive presentation case?
Surely more goodies still available.

Will be parking in Braemar Road, or near enough, on Saturday morning, before I catch the coach to Everton, so I'll have a look and see what's going on.

Do BIAS know why? Neighbours must be chuffed....

Yes, we have a copy of the communication sent to the neighbours.

They [Ecoworld] are submitting a new masterplan for the site.

Let me guess....more homes, less affordable housing?
They’ve probably found a plot of land that measures about 10 square metres on which they want to build a modern and stylish studio apartment.

Yours for only £1500pcm

This must be Braemar Road, but I don't remember those green gates...

I think that single green gate lead to a function room at the back of the Princess Victoria. I remember attending a function there 41 years ago! o_O I can't remember what we had to eat. But fairly sure there wouldn't have been any onions.

I walked passed the old girl last night and surprisingly had no emotion.
I spent most of my life there but you have to move on.
I love our new home.
Funny- I walked back past it on way to station and really felt emotional about it. I love the new ground but so many memories there in fifty years won't go away.

I know mate, it's why it shocked me that I felt nothing. We will always have our memories. No bulldozer can take them away.
I glanced into the Royal Oak pub and it was empty. That upset me more because it would of been rocking.
I just sang caravan of love to myself as I walked up the road.

Princess Royal but correct.

I remember going to Middlesex Housing Association meetings there around 1983. Didn't go through the green gates but through the pub.

What's the hold up with further demolition and building of the homes then?

In the wee hours of the morning at work when the phone quietens down, I usually scan YouTube or BBC iPlayer for something to keep me occupied. Last night I found a gem.

Most probably know - but I didn't, that GP was used for 'Mike Bassett Manager'. Not only that, but they somehow managed to transport the entire stadium to the Wirral in order to film it. Amazing really.

Just saw Griffin Park as we came in to land at Heathrow. It was the south runway so it was a distance away and I couldn't get the camera ready in time
Just reminded me to post a photo of GP when I flew over on the way back from Berlin back in May 2016. I lived in Brentford Dock at the time (still in Brentford now, just in a bigger, more affordable place!), so I always sat on the right-hand side of the plane when flying back to LHR in the hope of an approach with a view of the city and then home.2016.05.14.jpg
