Pleased with that. Thought it might be a one year extension but harlee and club must both be happy with two years.good news.

Can't be true, we've been told categorically by those ITK that he's off!
Personally very pleased, shows that not everybody wants to b*gger off.

Only a matter of time before we hear one of the following:

"We only re-signed him because Tarkowski was sold"

"This is a backward step. You don't wanna go up Brentford"

"Ankersen is a ****"

Good news. Perhaps he feels his chances of continuing to be selected have improved with Tarkowski's departure, and that the grass isn't necessarily greener elsewhere.

Pleased with this assuming we haven't given him crazy money. Might shut a few of the serial facebook whingers up for a bit...

I think it means that those you assumed were ITK are not actually ITK!

This is good news, we can't afford to lose a player who's proved to be at minimum competent and is now a 'long service' player who provides continuity.

Situations change, if Bjelland had been fit and Tarky hadn't been sold he'd be off. He's staying for a bit, much to HullBee's delight.

A player who plays from the heart. Mistakes happen but he is always in my team. Captain material for me.

I think the situations change point is right. I expect the contract on offer has changed as well. In fairness to him keeping focuses on concentrating on the matter in hand has paid off for him.

Yep super news. Please make him captain next season.
DS quoted as saying "he has shown that he wants to develop further both as a player and as a leader. I am looking forward to working with him for the foreseeable future" so you might be on to something.

I would third the captain call but I would actually make the change now. Much like in cricket I am not sure the burden of captaincy is helping Bidders. Harlee, whilst not perfect, is certainly a leader of men and would install a bit more leadership

Wait? I'm pretty sure it was you who posted a couple of seasons ago after the Tarky signing that we will cease to have players like Harlee as we need to keep upgrading, and patronised 'sentimental' GPGers who wanted to keep hold of such players. Glad to see one change one's tune.

Our players won't sign contracts has been said, yep in a lot of cases but the rats have left and now starts the re-build. Is that edgy enough Wanderer Paul, is that what you want?:D

No. I want more. :) Were rent-o-kill brought in to get rid of the rat infestation? :pop:

ps Can Harlee Dean be made team captain now? Well, next season will do. Many thanks.

I still think we need to keep upgrading! I would hope that Harlee understands this; we need another right-footed centre back and that's more than a development player from WHU.

Very good news,I'm not his greatest fan but he is still young enough to improve and his commitment cannot be questioned. Will be a kick in the bollox to the "there's trouble in the camp" brigade.
