Welcome, the noises are that he's not our usual profile as in age but they think he is that good.....hopefully they've got it right again.

Welcome to the squad. Three years for a player about to turn 28 in a few weeks, an unusual one for us as no sell on but I guess he is free. Looks a good signing.

Experience, height and goals from defence, it's a profile I like. Now a similar profile in midfield and a lightning fast, big, strong goal scorer and I'm a happy bunny.

Maybe he's been signed with a promotion push in mind rather than our usual dual purpose of improve the squad and possibly sell on for profit.

We don't *only* sign young players, we signed Vibe and Bjelland during too. Sometimes if someone can bring something in for a few years, rather than being brought in for the sell on it's fine. And experience can always be useful!

Along with height ;)

Welcome to the club Henrik, Not our usual aged group, but apparently highly thought of by our powers to be, nice to see we are thinking outside of the box, early signing is nice to see as well, I wonder who is on his way?

Heavily trailed and looks even more like Max will be leaving. We did seem to concede goals to far post headers quite often last season maybe getting some height in at full back will counteract this. Height at full back can look a bit ungainly at times as wingers tend to be small and quick but this guy must be quality he's an international .welcome to the club.

Welcome Henrik, we seem to have done quite well in terms of right backs from recent memory - good luck.

Brings two vital missing ingredients to our squad, height and experience.

Francis at B'muff is tall for a full back but has done very well for himself. I hear the club are excited about this guy and think he's a goodun as NB has stated above.

Welcome aboard Henrik.

Andreas, Lasse & Justin will show you the sights

Have to say we are helping the Danish coach out immensely. He can scout three players in one hit

An older experienced head to add to our very young, talented and ever improving squad.
Maybe making a bit of a statement for next season

Not forgetting Justin Shaibu too. Plus a Danish coach - Thomas Frank - who managed a young age group at the Danish FA.

I am pretty sure we have a promotion push in mind every season.
Obviously they want to think we can get promoted every season but this kind of signing, one at his peak of development with no potential higher resale value, suggests MB calculates with the current squad we have a very good chance this season.

Welcome!!!

Not every player has to have a resale value if they bring something to the side.

Mentioned he can play in a couple of positions which is always very useful, and does not mean imo that Colin will be a banker leaver. Looks like a good acquisition, someone who will add height and is a bit more experienced, 2 area as highlighted on here several times needing strengthening.

I don't think it's strange, just that to get experienced players in England you pay over the odds and get very little. The value is in other European countries and we probably have a better scouting network for Danish players than other nationalities.

Sounds good. Bit disappointed as you'd have to conclude this means they expect Maxime to leave but hopefully he'll manage to surpass even him!

Perhaps knowing the Danish players is through the partnership with FCM? Although wouldn't say no to us running the rule of Kristensen at FCM

Maybe he means it is strange they are all Danish, not strange that they are all non English.

Maybe they look after themselves or more likely are known to us because of the coaching and DoF etc.

Just to point out that players can still have a resale value even over the age of 30. Birmingham just paid £2m for Craig Gardner.

Meets the requirement for our type of player junior international and significant recent injury.

Amazing isn't it. We sign a 27 year old and we see it as the exception rather than the rule (Vibe and Bjelland excepted) this just highlights how different is our approach as what would be commonplace for pretty much every other team in the Division - assuming they could identify the prospects we do - is rare for us.

Birmingham will be paying out multi-million pound fees for plenty of 35+ year old players now that Harry Redknapp is in charge!

I think our data machine must be broken. Surely he's much too tall and old! Welcome on board sir and hope you don't get a crick in your neck talking with your new colleagues.
