Now back in Denmark, wielding a chainsaw, according to an interview with him on the OS. Hope he has proper protective gear on.....

Not "too" current I hope....
It gave today’s date when it was posted by Sky, but no idea when it was filmed.

Elsewhere, there’s also a combined Pinnock and Watkins video from Sky from a few days ago.
They’re at their respective homes being interviewed online by Scott Minto and Don Goodman.
Not sure whether anyone else has already posted the link to this on here?

Had an absolute stinker today despite the goal at the end. Needed the old heads to step up and lead the way today and it didn't really happen..

Was poor. Time to look for a new full back. I’ve liked him, I’ve been annoyed with him, but he’s always given his best. He’s a record owner, for now, but an upgrade is probably needed.

That’s tough for me to say. I’ve liked him.

Unfortunately, Fulham prevented us from using Rico on occasions which meant some play had to go through Dalgaaard and his passing left alot to be desired. Certainly not a game that he would want to remember performance wise. I have to say he was not the only player to perform below par tonight.

It's been a feature of the games we've struggled in, press Henry and Pinnock and allow Jansson and Dalsgaard time on the ball. Need to find a way around that for next season..

He'd be one of the positions that we'd have prioritised to strengthen if we had gone up. But he's got experience, which has helped us many times this season and which we'll need next season.

The worry is that we get targeted on that inside left position and we don't tend to use that side as an attacking outlet as much. It is a weakness and to be harsh, it needs to improve.

He is an attacking full back and has always struggled when teams don’t give our defenders the space needed but he has overall done a reasonable job this season. At the end of his career at this level and could not be considered as automatic selection next season

Had Brentford won then I think an upgrade would have been expected but I'm more than happy to see him start next season. An experienced head to lead them through, the team just need to start at the beginning not ten games in.

Yeah he wasn't great. Gave the ball away a lot. Probably an area where we need to look to improve.

I do wonder what happened to him post the Denmark WC run.

We used to see him play a bit like Zabaleta at City used too. Overlapping, put in decent crosses but this season just hasn’t been the same.

Old age catches up with all of us eh lol

Decent pro but should be back up now.

maybe he needs to shift inside as a CB? Start with Roerslev or A.N.Other at RB..

Roerslev will need to vastly improve his defending first to be a regular starter. Loads of potential wouldn't get in any of the top 6 at the moment.

We definitely need his experience in the team, I think we need to look for more experience in other areas to help the younger talented players in the team.

Have to agree with your comments on defending but he is very young and with experience and our coaching methods will improve.

Desperately hope he is part of our squad next season. Imagine, however, that it’s possible this will be as a centre back.

Wouldn't be surprised if Dalsgaard moves back home by January and someone like Ng comes in.

I know TF has mentioned a possible progression to centre-back, but I'm not sure if that will happen when we've got Racic and MBS waiting in the wings

I think he'll be our RB next season, with Roerslev hopefully developing enough to take over the year after. I don't think Mads is ready yet, we do look weaker defensively when he plays unfortunately, but he's pretty damn young...

The Sky commentators mentioned about us eventually branding Henrik to a CB as well. Possible although I'd say it's a fair bit off still.

I'm not sure if anyone noticed but he scored our only goal in the play off final. I don't think he's had a break since playing in the World Cup.

Keep him around but he can be got at defensively and it’s no secret. Perhaps Roerslev will step up.

I do have a rule for not leaving a game before full time, and I completely agree with you on that one. But with 30 seconds to go and Fulham about to be announced as promoted with a two goal lead I did so...

WC 2018. HD had a break Summer 2019. Then a longer break March 2020 to May 2020. Some virus I think.

Anyway, he’s a good player and I like him. Some haven’t. However, it’s time for an upgrade. Is Roerslev ready?

He’s got a year on his deal. Unless we can wangle a sizeable fee for him (unlikely given his age) I think I’d have him in our squad as a centre half.

It may block the pathway of MBS slightly but can’t see him playing many games next season anyway?

Just think a versatile leader and a WC veteran of Danish persuasion is worth a lot to our young squad, many of whom are Danish.

Possibly, particularly now we're still in the Championship. but I think it won't have gone unnoticed that we can get very exposed for pace on the right side of our defence with Pontus and Dalsgaard. We may well try and rotate him and Roerslev or another new young RB to bed them in over the season.

I didn’t even know we’d scored until I got up this morning.
