Hey Jude has had a proper reimergence since lock down.

In the four games I have attended at Lionel Road, virtually the whole crowd have sung a long, loud and proud.

I've seen emotion, tears in the eyes of those returning to football.

The song is no longer in the back ground, with fans now standing for our anthem, quite a few are now proudly holding their scarves aloft as they proudly and enthusiastically join in.

I can't remember the last time I took my Brentford scarf to football, but this Friday it will be held aloft as I sing loud and proud and as we let the Premier League know we have arrived.

Wouldn't it be great if we all brought our scarves and were to build a visual wall to accompany the noise

Is it still a race to the finish with the West Stand (ex-ER) winning?

It’s crazy the difference since we’ve become become premier league. Noticed a lot of part timers against Valencia saw some old faces but outnumbered with the glory supporters. What can we do we’re in for a great season truly believe we’ll stay up. Absolutely buzzing for Friday always wanted to play Arsenal at Griffin Park more than others for some reason. SUPER BEES 🐝

Quite impressive of you to have known every single season ticket holder from the past to be able to make that judgement!

It was inevitable that there would be a large number of new fans regardless given the larger stadium capacity, and remember that season tickets were only on sale when the club were in the Championship so the vast majority of attendees will have gone whatever league.

Don't mean to criticise as love the sentiment of the rest of your post.

Believe it or not it isn't. Somehow it just so happens that the West Stand now sing in time to the music rather than going at double speed
Could never hear the PA properly in Ealing road, so nothing to take timing from. 🤔

Just as there are different people sitting in your area does not mean they are new. Just new to the same position as you?

We've literally moved stadiums, never mind seats. Of course you don't know everyone, going on that logic YOU look like a glory hunter to them 😂

I brought 3 people with me who don't usually go to games.
They wanted to see the stadium in all it's glory and have little chance of getting in
for a league game. All of them had a cracking day!!

Wash your mouth out and go and sit in the corner of the room :redcard:
:whoosh:

I think you missed the large slice of sarcasm in Fencer's post. He would NOT want a drum at the ground. (although I think he does like the clappers that Putney still have at their games )

This stills sounds a bit on the slow side…

Always sing it when it's played but change the words (in part) to

" ........take a sad team,
..........and make them better,
.....remember to let them ...."

Seems to have worked this year.

Is there not going to be a bees v gunners half and half scarf on every seat Friday 🤔
I'm sure there will be some unlicensed scumbags in the vicinity of the stadium trying to sell them! Don't see the point of them (scumbags or half-and-half scarves!) You're either one club, as a supporter,or the other.

In view of the STHs and Members buying tickets, there should bee no one who isn't supporting one team or the other.

Neutrals and tourists will be at the games, one way or another. They buy this tat.

Don't stress on this stuff, surely the last 18 months has taught us all that at the very least 😊

Someone on Facebook replied to a similar post with a picture of their Daughter making their flag for Friday.

Let's all get involved by building this wall of colour to match our cauldron of noise
