How many Fulham players would get into our team?

Based on watching the last couple of Fulham games I can't think of any players from their team that would get into ours.
Cairney perhaps? Can anyone else think of any?

I don't rate Cairney.

He's not actually theirs, but Harrison Reed would be good in the middle. Him and Noorgard as DM options would be fantastic, both slightly different. Reed is more tenacious and gets stuck in, would be good against a physical side or a team you want to disrupt. Noorgard for games where we will dominate more of the possession.

They have some good players...quite a few actually! We're not miles better than them. The reason they're not higher is arguably because Parker is a little bit too inexperienced so they're not playing as cohesively as they may be otherwise. The reason we're not higher is because we had to gel at the beginning of the season with about 6 new faces in the first team.

I think this game is relatively balanced, leaning on our side. They may feel the opposite however.

No arrogance, or anything remotely like that intended – believe me, I am more than familiar with our own frailties.
I was just compiling a best of XI of the two teams, in my own head, and I kept coming up with a majority of our players in my team and I wondered if I was just wearing rose tinted glasses.
I won't make that mistake again!

Intersting to see the players of the last round... To qualify players had to play in both legs.. Raya was the keeper... We had a couple of Defenders. Fulham had the whole Midfield and from memory we had two of tge four forwards. Cardiff didnt have one player

From what I've seen that Reed looked very good in the game at their place.

I've always liked Cairney as a player and Mitrovic record speaks for it self.

Kebano seems to be in good form. They have a good team. Who would get into ours who knows but part of it will be based on who suits our system better.

Would Mitrovic get into our team ahead of Watkins probably not based on the way we play probably not. Would Watkins get in their teams ahead of Mitrovic probably not based on the way they play. It's all relative.

Also bear in mind that (according to Sky the other night) Fulham were pre season favourites to go up due to the strength of their squad. They have finished on the same number of points, losing two fewer games. If it was two points per win, Fulham would have finished ahead. It’s fine, as per the OP , to think about what a combined team would look like, but the title is just plain disrespectful and tempting fate. It’s the sort of thread title that gets pinned up in opposition dressing rooms.

This season, Brentford have been the best footballing side in the division - no doubt. But as some say, we were level on points, so it's not a foregone conclusion. FWIW a fit Mitrovic would get in your team, but on this season's form, not many others, except perhaps Rodak.

No, not the way you play, granted, but he's scored more goals, probably from less games, and so Watkins wouldn't get into ours ahead of Mitro.

Anyway, it's all subjective, and comes down to a game either side can win.

I make you favourites, based on form throughout the season, but fancy our chances if we click.

Given that our formation and style of play is different, it's difficult to say, position-by-position. Yes, Mitrovic is good at what does but we'd need to readjust the entire team to use him effectively; Reed looks like he'd make a useful contribution in midfield but I'm not sure he'd oust Nørgaard; Cairney has been a great player but, again, not one for the future. A few of the younger players getting playing time while Mitrovic is out look like they have potential in our style.

Mitrovic is way over rated and they play as much more of a unit without him.
