Anyone found cheap train tickets for udders away yet? (or know when they're coming out?) Best price I can find at the moment is about £78 return (and that's with a railcard!!)

Booked Premier Inn, Huddersfield Central, on the canal and a stroll down to the ground.

The only trouble is we have always lost when I have stayed here!

Still being born in Huddersfield I can always swap allegiance for one match.......................Oh! No I can't!!!!!

I reckon we'll smash them this time, payback for their cheating ways at Griffin Park and those 2 cheating brothers who manage them. TF ain't happy.

At the moment, with a railcard, you can get
London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly.....£34 return
Manchester Piccadilly to Huddersfield ........£10 return
If you put in London Euston to Huddersfield it’s something
stupid like £77 return.

Cheapest option I’ve come up with is my old standby of changing at Crewe. Bizarrely, it then takes me into Manchester Piccadilly (!) for the Huddersfield train....£30.50 rtn (Senior Railcard).

I’ve booked my travel for this one.

I’m going to 19 out of the remaining 21 fixtures.

Missing Derby Away and Leicester at home (unless Leicester gets moved to the evening)

I've always used their stadium car park.
It's slightly better than most for getting out of but there is a little street parking if you get there early enough.

I’m driving to this one , any decent safe places to park ?

Looked at the train , looks like a ball ache
The stadium car park is good, well attended and right by the entrance to the away end. Only problem is it is pretty pricy (iirc £10 when I went a few seasons back, but I stopped wincing at that when Gilham and Devlin were handing out free match tickets outside the ground!).

I think is will be far for of a test for us than the recent games against Brizzle and 'The Visitors'. I expected to win both, even though they're higher placed than 'Udders, due to the fact that both play a fairly open game.

We all know we lost at home to this lot and I'm sure they'll play a similar game. Winning games against teams like this when we won't get bucket loads of chances will be the difference between top 2 and top 6. Hopefully, we've now got a bit of variation on the bench we can use compared to the home game. That and a set piece game that is streets ahead of what we had earlier in the season.

Seemed to have a pretty open game against Stoke.

Lots of goals, yes, but that's because Stoke aren't renowned for open play either, so 'Udders played it differently. They won't do be doing that against us. It will be very similar to Millwall, where they will be pressing the whole time, giving us no time on the ball. That's where we're vulnerable.

Yep we need to be patient against Udders and not concede early . Sometimes if can’t win a game then don’t lose it but with team we have and alternatives from the bench we always have a chance of scoring as long as game nil nil away from home as in those instances the opposition won’t play 10 men behind the ball the whole game which they happily will if defending a lead.

I still have nightmares when we lost on penalties to them, (playoffs) when I think bates missed. If I remember correctly we finished second that season too.

I be going on Saturday. Missed quite a few games this season due to I'll health. I probably go up by train. Does any one know if its pay on the day (as I'm waiting on my bank to send me a replacement card).

You’ll need that bank card, trains via Manchester will cost you over £100 now.
LNER trains will take nearly 4 hrs and a few changes for about £85.
Don’t know about pay on the day, but they’ve given us 1076 tickets

Leaving now for God's finest county.

Hopefully a good drive up to 'Udders then a casual day tomorrow before the big one on Saturday. Back Monday afternoon.

See you all there.

Huddersfield will potentially have three new players at their disposal. Andy King joined today from Leicester following Stearman from Sheffield United and Smith Rowe from Arsenal.

They do know this is a Championship match and not an 'OAP' league right? ;)

Smith Rowe could be a decent acquisition. Just 19 and was considered good enough to start for Arsenal at Everton last month.
That was a dull match. It will be a good test against Championship level old pros, Saturday. We are better now and learned some good lessons against them at home. We owe them a beating.
