Hi all, I have been trying to sort my season ticket for the disabled area for over a week now. I was assured by the ticket office that that they would get me a place in Braemar road either in the disabled area or in the third row. For over a week I have been waiting for promised calls. Every time I have had to ring them, only once did they ring back when they said they would. Finally just now I get a ring from the stadium manager saying "can't do it, nowhere to put the chair". My buggy folds into a bag like a luggage bag. I pleaded with him, haven't you got a cupboard anywhere? He says no. It seems the only way I can get in is if there is someway I can leave it outside. Anyone in Braemar Rd can help me? I can't walk too far so it needs to be nearby. I am astonished they let me down so bad. I am travelling over 140 miles train/bus/train for the game & they can't even be bothered to ring me back :(

Could ask in the Princess Royal.

The ladies at the Oak (RIP) would always let me leave my bags in the kitchen, when I had come straight from work to the football.

Spoke to my good lady and we are happy for you to leave it behind the bar in the Princess Royal. Come in before game and ask for Charlotte or Grant.

They haven't even let me buy the season ticket yet. The stadium manager said he would tell the ticket office to ring me but not heard yet. All the disabled spaces are booked for the first 3 games

So are you thinking of using the chair as your burger flipping seat?

Sorry to that sponshagga, lack of space in the disabled area certainly has an effect on who can come and who cannot if you're disabled. I wonder how many disabled supporters we have that want to come to GP and how many spaces we have? Lionel road will more than likely have enough to accommodate the growing fan base, but you wonder even if that is enough?! Hope you get sorted out. :)

Much appreciated Rhino Bee :) I wouldn't have minded if they hadn't assured me they would get me in. I sorted out someone to go with & everything.

I suggest you contact Mark Devlin, mdevlin@brentfordfc.co.uk, if you are not happy with the response that you are getting. Also Mads Tarrant is the Supporters Liaison Officer and also in the ticket office.

Well the ticket office just got in touch & I am now the proud owner of a season ticket :) yaay!! They said turn up & they'll see what they can do. But will still drop into the PR to get a little worse for wear myself. Much thanks to all for their help.

And there was me thinking this was going to be a Hull supporter ashamed of the way their club does business. Nope, still a bunch of tossers.

They should be giving you a medal mate for your determination, good to hear it looks like it is sorted at last.

I'm sure they were doing their best, it's just when, after a week they totally changed tack & said I couldn't get in I was well pissed off. Feel a bit bad moaning about them now. Still, as someone said we'll all learn from it. :)

'Insufficance' is a wonderful word that should have always existed before today.
