I entered my code and it has still charged me £10.
I've been sent an email saying the same.
I've now started the process of trying to get a refund.
Wish me luck.
Mine worked fine. The cc payment lines were above the code line but being cautious I made sure I inputted the code before my card details for that important zero payment. Got a zero payment confirmation from the EFL!

That's the way I did it.

I've got that number to try tomorrow, and hopefully it can get sorted out.

That's probably why it always works for me – habit of copy>paste as consecutive actions. I copy the code from the email before going to my iFollow account and the first thing I do is paste and Apply the code before anything else, so then check the payment type and (as my card is stored) pay with this card.

Yep. I agree, this is the safest way. Otherwise the crappy website can surprise you by paying when you were least expecting it and before you've applied the voucher.

Defensive browsing at its best.

Just phoned them, and the money has been refunded.

Took just about a minute to get it sorted.

.... for a refund for an inadvertent payment phone EFL - 01772 325829
Just give your email adress & free voucher code

(But really you shouldn't have to go through this palaver
NB: when redeeming the code, put it in before doing anything else to ensure the payment due shows as £0.00)

no - i thought someone had raised a proper complaint (about needing to enter payment details for a zero balance item) - did that complaint ever get addressed?

You have to have a credit/debit card attached to your iFollow account as normally one would be purchasing something
The thing is there has to be a payment (albeit nil for us STHs) to activate the "purchase"
It costs £10 but we're given a voucher to discount that by £10
Just ensure you insert the code first so £0.00 shows, before doing anything about "paying/buying"

You don't have to have a card linked with your account (I don't) and we didn't have to input any payment details for the offer at the end of last season

BIAS did to the club but all we got was a "we'll forward to EFL Digital".

We have a meeting with the club them next week so will chase.

This seems to vary / be inconsistent as for the first time yesterday it wouldn't process my nil payment until I entered card details.

You need to process a payment of nil but you don't need to save/link a card to your account. No need for them to store your card details.

I have NOW TV so not full sky, it *seems* like the Bees v Norwich game will be "streamed" tonight on that. Anyone have an idea on this?

It will be on the red button, but I don't think this is available on NOW TV.

On the main menu go right to the bottom and it should say something like "bonus streams" (I can't remember the exact wording) and it should be there, or is at least for me when I looked last.

In my IFollow account I have a PayPal link but it didn't appear for this booking!

I think someone else mentioned that paypal is not supported by ifollow anymore.

Question .. we have been sent ifollow codes for tonight’s match .. I have Sky so can watch it on red button. Does anyone think (or know!) if this code would work for Saturdays game at Luton?
* Sorry if this has been asked before

From Saturday, it should be automatically activated with no need for a code

Although their website still lists PayPal as an accepted payment method ...

And they are still taking monthly payments from my Paypal Account so it is still available. Maybe not just for one-off payments

Has always worked fine for me,,,until yesterday when stupidly I omitted to click 'Apply' against the voucher code before paying. So was charged £10.00. I called this number today but got a recorded message saying that no one was available to take calls and to use the chat facility on the ifollow area of the Club's website. I couldn't see this anywhere, only an 'envelope' symbol to email. So that's what I've done asking for a refund. To be fair I received an email pretty quickly saying to allow 3 - 5 days for the refund to e processed. I'll wait and see and certainly will be more careful next time!

All they have to do really is to put the code entry/apply bit at the top of the page, so that you see and action it before you get to the bit about payment.

Unable to watch using WiFi on tv, phone iPad. If I switch to data on my phone it worked but chews through the data. Data ran out five minutes from the end. Great 1 nil win.

I went for I-Follow last night rather than the red button...mainly because you get replays on i-follow. Not sure if coincidence or not but clearing browser history etc before the match seems to have improved things. Still had the odd slight buffer but better.

I watched it on the red button, but also had ifollow on my laptop, while I 2as commenting on the updates thread, then when anything during the game, because ifollow is slightly behind, I could watch it again, because as others have said there are no replays on the red button.

Watched on ifollow. Very good quality picture (bit of stuttering at the start of the 2nd half). I really like Mick Cables analysing and Mark B’s commentary. My nephews ifollow was about 65 secs behind mine for some reason

Watched on Sky, which was at least a minute behind the GPG updates thread 😄

Might just need to stick with iFollow from now on, which also has replays unlike Sky.

Interesting. How do you actually do that? Like people say clear cookies. I really dont know how too - or if I have any to clear. As to loading a different browser- absolutely no idea.

Depends on which browser you use so perhaps use google and search for "how to clear cookies" followed by your browser name.

Others were saying they had problems with using Paypal as a payment method.

I've just used it for the Loo Town game without any trouble at all.

Just hope my wifi hangs in there.

Not problems, it was removed entirely for the Norwich game but seems to be back for all upcoming matches. Shouldn't make a difference though as no need for season ticket holders to use codes anymore
