I’m feeling a mix of elation that we’re getting right back in this test match and absolute terror as to what Ashwin and Axar will do on this pitch.

Rohit’s extra 30 is crucial, surprised that his dismissal this morning wasn’t going over or that he wasn’t outside of the line, even more so that the 3rd umpire didn’t just check if he was behind the line and leave it at that. Sorry but game gone in that dirty 30 whatever happens.

Well, well. well - 125-8 so mop up the tail for under 150 and game on again. Get somewhere close to a 175-200 lead and I fancy England to win

Speaking as somebody with zero emotional involvement with cricket I genuinely couldn’t care less who wins.
I do however enjoy watching it in small doses.
You have to question the point of even travelling for this series what with the appalling pitches and park standard umpiring.

If Root is getting a 5 for, a part time spinner, what the hell are Ashwin and Axar going to do to England’s batsman?!! 😩😱

Amazing, reminds me a bit of when Michael Clarke tore through India some 15-20 years ago in similar circumstances.

Now - can we get 220-230?

Incredible fightback by England to limit the lead to 33 - however still got to bat on this again so it could well be a match winning lead.

1. England all out below 100? 4/6

2. England all out below 120? Evens

3. England all out below 150? 3/1

4. England romp above 200? 100/1

Choices?!! 😂

(My odds!)

Great for Root and good to be back in the game.

This is supposed to be a fair contest between bat and ball though and it simply isn't.

Joe Root will go on to get a test winning ton now after that, the boy will be buzzing!!

Sports Personality of the year already, our very own Thomas Frank will be overseas SPOTY of course.

I see the umpires stopped giving LBW and England had to rely on Hawkeye for their LBWs.

No doubt the wickets will get slightly wider now...

What a difference a day makes.

Yesterday afternoon: seemed like the whole Brentford 1st team had gone down injured. We secretly feared the visit of a bottom 3 side. And England were already beaten in the 3rd test.

Today: following a handsome victory over Wednesday, first team players seem to be queuing up for a return and England are right back in the hunt. :bounce::bounce:

I’ll be waiting for the stumpings. :pop:

We’ll get both side on angles. Stump camera from behind crease. Stump camera from other end. Plus any other angle they can find......

England get one angle!!
