Anyone know if we've lined up a friendly for this week? Would have thought we could do with one, though we might have to scrape a team together! Hopefully Rico/Baptiste might be back fit and we can get Janelt some minutes. Shame Ghoddos is away as would be good to have him training with us for a couple of weeks.

I am somewhat happy with Ghoddos's addition to the Team Melli (National team in Farsi). Although the importance of having the chance to gel more into the team would be great, I must say him getting playing time to stay match fit is also going to help him for Brentford. in the meantime from what I've seen, the head coach has lots of work to do to tweak the little mistakes from the last game. As we've seen in the games in Premier League in week 4 of the competition.. we had some crazy surprises and we are reminded that even the best teams can be defeated at times.. and that's ok, its just a humble reminder that you have to bring your A-game, not only the players but also the head coach. surely we'll bounce back stronger! Let's go Brentford!

So if we had a game this week what would be our midfield? DaSilva, Marcondes (inconsistent), Jensen (inconsistent). Baptiste (injured?), Norgaard (injured?). Looking thin on the ground!

Well two of your choice’s are away on International Duty at least one if not two are injured. So there’s room for some B Squad lads

Yes I realise that two are away, I was making a general observation that we are not over loaded with choice in that area at the moment?

I would imagine it would be Janelt, Marcondes, Maghoma unless Baptiste is available, with Hammar and Gilbert on the bench.

There's one planned behind closed doors at a national League club apparently.

Aldershot if I correctly heard Paris Maghoma in his interview.

Most likely mixture B and 1st team players. Be good for Raya to get another match as he didn't look right in the Fulham match and another chance for Fin to impress

apart from the world class save he made to stop them levelling :fishing:
Yes that was a superb save, but his distribution was well below par and his kicking was off (1 kick from hand barely went 10 meters and straight to an attacker)

He talked as if he might play in it...when does he become England "property"? His England game is on the 13th.

I'm guessing he'd go over the weekend so would imagine the game is thurs or friday? Looking at all the players going away is incredible but doesn't leave us with many for the game! Will probably need to be something like..

Raya, Stevens, Goode (or KOC2), Pinnock, Henry (or Thompson), Janelt, Marcondes, Maghoma, Joe Adams, Toney, Canos.

With the remaining first team and B team on the bench,..

Not a bad team to put out in a friendly! But isn't Adams on Wales duty?

Ghoddos is on the bench, but some starting 11 players arent playing due to injury or covid travel and quarantine restrictions. although, Sardar azmoun(zenith) Taremi (fc porto), our right back from (dinamo zagreb) Milad mohammadi left back (kaa gent) and others are playing.

Ah, seems it's just a B team game? Imagine there may be a couple of recovering first team players getting some minutes? Hopefully Baptiste at least..

Just watched a couple of minutes of that. Don’t know which is which team.
Bizarre language 😱

I hear the Uzbeks say the same about the English language.
