Is Scottish football now completely discredited?

So if Dunfermline don’t beat Queen of the South on Friday night then they get relegated?
Dunfermline are in the dreaded play off spot. If they are in the same place after the game with Queen of the South then they will be in the play offs with Airdrie, Queens Park and Montrose.
QotS are down and Cove are up.
Ayr United need to beat Partick Thistle to guarantee their championship status.

Thanks. I’m going to the Dunfermline vs Queen of the South game on Friday night, so I’ll do a match report afterwards :)

League one and league Two are all sorted.
Champions, play off contenders, relegated clubs.
No final day dramas.
All ten games at the weekend are dead rubbers.
Nothing to play for except your pride.

I really do need to get out more.

On the subject of Rangers and Celtic... Want proof that you can't mention one without the other?... Rangers FC has the Celtic manager at its heart... RANGERS FC

Sadly, it appears that Fort William have been relegated from the Highland League (yes, apparently such a thing is possible) and will be replaced by Banks O'Dee.

FW refused to play their playoff games because of a disagreement over player eligibility - but the details are confusing. For example, one version says that FW asked to play a keeper who was signed after the cut-off date. The League refused, pointing out that at the time of the cutoff, FW had had five keepers on their books. FW said one was away serving in the Armed Forces; one had returned to Poland, two weren't available for other reasons and they had never heard of the other one (eh???).

Good luck sorting that one out then.

Ah, my favourite Scottish team. Can always be relied on to uphold the spirit of the thread title! What next for them? Is there a Foothills League, or a Lower Slopes League?

The North Caledonian League, I believe (2022–23 North Caledonian Football League - Wikipedia). They will have the biggest ground in it and will be playing teams such as Loch Ness, Orkney and Clachnacuddin 'A'. This be more suited to them, and they've already launched their shirt for next season ( ) but I'm still sad about it.

Banks O' Dee, who are replacing FW, won the The SJFA North Superleague this year with an unbeaten season and a record number of points, overtaking the total run up by the mighty Hermes in 2011-12. They also scored 130 goals in 26 games and had a goal difference of +117. (Source )

Enjoy mate, I'll have a few Saturday lunchtime🙂. Credit to Ange and the board for getting the title back where it belongs so quickly.
I have to admit that a year ago it looked depressing and the Teddies were set to dominate for a number of years to come.
Ange turns up and I thought with the right approach and recruitment, which was crap,it might take a while.maybe 3 maybe 4 years and here we go or don't go.
9 -10 months !!!!!
What a great job.

Enjoy watching paint dry if that is your party piece.
I understand that the watching Paint drying heats are starting next week in Brighton.
Good weather forecast so it will be drying a lot quicker.
Some of us will enjoy Scottish football regardless of who supports what team.
The Arbroath story this season is one of the most remarkable things to happen in British football and it has been an incredible journey.
Enjoy it if you want to,but don't diss it because paint is more exciting in your world.

Agreed with Arbroath, yet that league is boring and that probably won't be changing too soon.

......guess a few Germans might find Scottish 'festivities' a lot less boring in Seville next Wednesday.

Gonna be mad in town tonight if they win.
Just arriving back from holiday just in time for this.
Shame couldn't get a ticket.
Shame you couldn’t get a ticket, as it certainly looks like there’s room for more in the ground - and there’s a big block of empty seats in the stand opposite the camera :(

The dream ends for the Smokies :( Inverness nick it after having had two players sent off during a quite dreadful game of football.

One or two comb-overs in this shoot-out. Out-dated south of the border, still de rigueur amongst Scottish players (Bannon, Griffiths, for example). Brings back memories of a golden age of baldies in football (Charlton, Coates, Robson and so on).

Gutted for Arbroath, by the way.

Really poor refereeing. Never a straight red card for the first one, and it wasn’t a second yellow card for the Thistle player. I can see Cally beating St Johnstone, they’ve been poor for most of the season.

I was really hopeful that Arbroath would win, they’re within driving distance of a day trip from the East Neuk :)
