Rangers have improved for sure but I thought Celtic got very complacement after years of dominance. It should have taken at least a season to regroup and challenge again, but agree, to appoint Ange, sort out the recruitment department and Ange win a title and a cup within 9 months is a remarkable achievement. Celtic and Rangers will drive each other on for a few seasons, which will be good for the league.
There was a lot wrong internally at the club and the appointment of Nick Hammond was one.
Too much money spent on rubbish that cannot get a game now doesn't help.
I did say 9 in a row can be done, but 10 was always a tall order and those wheels left the motor very very early in the season.
No way was Rangers going to let that happen in the same way Win Jansens team did in 1997/98.
74/75 was different.
The New year's Day game (3-0 to the Gers) turned the tide towards Ibrox and the big man could not hold that back.
The season finished that day for Celtic and the flag ended up at Ibrox for the first time in a while.
Worthy winners I have to say as they were a much better outfit than Jocks aging and not quite up for it squad.
Did win the cup though

.
I digress.
Maeda will sign,Jota may too and Ange will know what he needs to go forward from here.
The club has to back him and it will we hope.
No treble this year, but we will be back in July to try again and succeed.
Onwards and upwards.
Hail Hail.
