Agreed, he seemed to focus much better after that. Taking on the responsibility I guess? Did he or Norgaard take the captains armband?Actually thought he was having an average game up until the sending off - he then kicked into beast mode. His defending from set pieces is ridiculously good.
Isn't this the one Ollie won last season? So an independant panel chooses the winner I believe. It isn't one of those voted for by supporters, thankfully! As these are weighted towards the bigger clubs!Who votes on this award?
Bolloxhate to say it but it's obviously preying on his mind.. He's snatching at any chance he gets. Thought that one from Marcondes' through ball was in though but bounced the wrong way off the post. The free kick was ridiculous though!! Come on Ivan, stop thinking about it and it will come!
Thought he looked pretty fresh still when chasing down in the last seconds last night. Too much emphasis on 30 goals, if we win games and he contributes I don't care of he stays on 29.What a player we have here.
He looks tired to me. If that is the case, he needs to be professional and take rest. Our promotion is alot more important than one player reaching 30.
It is possible he’s physically fresh but not mentally, I suppose. But as with Forss’s recent misses, it might just be in our heads because in a game of fine margins he’s been six inches out while doing everything right. He’s a very unselfish player and while he will want the personal achievement of 30+ goals he’s all about the team.Thought he looked pretty fresh still when chasing down in the last seconds last night. Too much emphasis on 30 goals, if we win games and he contributes I don't care of he stays on 29.
A valid point but I can’t help feeling the ‘reward’ of him and Forss having one extra game partnership or keeping up momentum are not as big as the ‘risk’ to our season should he pick up an injury. For me the main reason he should play is actually to progress the partnership understanding between him and Forss.
