Exactly. Let's face it we were lucky with injuries last year that Watkins played more or less every league game and was hardly substituted. Waktins deserved his move and good luck to him.

I don't think either Forss or Toney have the all around ability that Watkins has but they both have goals in them and if between them they can score the goals Watkins ended up last year we will be hovering around the top 2, especially as I am led to believe we are (almost) close to announcing a midfielder signing ...
From the detailed analyses of his play at Peterborough Toney looks to have the same sort of skill set as Watkins so if he can reproduce it at this level he will score a lot. Forss also has a lot of potential and perhaps more of the natural striker's eye for being in the right place at the right time coupled with an absolute rocket of a shot that I think is hard to save even if a keeper is well positioned.

Putting the result aside it was great to see Ivan get off ther mark in open play. The first was really well taken with the cross coming in at pace and the second was calm and composed, putting it in the near side. Strikers are about confidence and 3 goals in 2 games will do him the world of good.

The only bright spot of yesterdays game was the two goals for him.

Took his first goal well, second goal on the end of a good break out moved the ball on a few paces then hit it with some power . There were time he played some decent lay offs

Need him to get a bit better at holding the ball up to help relieve the pressure. We really didn't have an outball today and because of that and us being sat soooo deep we tried to play ourselves out and got into a massive mess.. Other than that he's really looking the business.. great timing of runs and great finishing..

Ollie's play showed that Ivan has a way to go to learn the role but he does start with looking more of a natural finisher, so let's hope it does not take too long to get to grips with the hard work side.

He’s so strong, you can see defenders nearly sh*tting themselves whenever a ball goes into the box. Power off both feet, and some good passing too. I think he might be our best striker yet.

The way he watched the ball onto his head and the power he generated for the second goal was class.

Seemed to be struggling with his left leg in the first half, especially after a shot with it. It was strapped up as well.

He's a top, top, top striker! Gets in the right places in the box and despite losing Said we can still find him there. However, his off the ball work is improving too, some great link up play including one fantastic volleyed pass across the pitch.. If he stays fit he's going to break goalscoring records for us!!

Over the moon we got him and he’s hit the ground running, good performances and getting the chances and goals.
A real predator in the box. Can head it, chest it, use both feet. Some very good link up play and balls forward too.

What was the injury? From the highlights, his leg looked heavily strapped from the beginning, and he seemed to hold his left leg after that shot in the first half.

Hopefully just precautionary?

Aside from the goals, some excellent hold-up play. Excited to see more of him in a bees shirt.

Joint top scorer (5) tonight with Armstrong. Only 81 mins per goal.
Early days yet, I mean Bidwell is joint 3rd in the assists chart!
....i bet Murray and Co on Quest tonight will give him special mention...i remember that show last season when Murray touted him for BFC....funny how things pan out.

You can see why Peterborough’s owner was saying he thought he’d become a £25m+ player with us!

The Everton Chappie seems to be very good also. Great header against Liverpool today.

He was wearing a surgical stocking when he limped on after the game. Isn't that to stop blood clots?

The future is bright, the future is Toney. If we can get 3 or 4 others weighing in with 6-10 goals Toney can fire us into the prem. You just know he is a class act, 25 plus this season for sure.

Toney is as good as Watkins, there I've said it. Just need to get together a front three with a suitably catchy acronym and we've cracked it.
