If they sell DCL that will change though?Everton wanted Maupay but didn’t have the money to even try. They’re not going to be anywhere near in the running for Ivan.

Only if they’re reinvesting in players rather than the new ground. Who’s buying DCL? Not sure he’s going top 6.If they sell DCL that will change though?
Do you know with whom I think he could partner best for England upfront? Well, none other than Ollie Watkins. What a partnership that could be for England.Interesting article on why IT could be a real asset for Southgate

Opinion: Brentford striker Ivan Toney must be on Gareth Southgate's radar for England 2022 World Cup place
Ivan Toney scored one and assisted another in Brentford's 2-0 win over Wolves with the 25-year-old impressing in the Premier League this season.www.google.co.uk

Andy McCulloch and Gary Bissett.Agree AB, only better.
He’s got Kane’s football brain and ability along with Lukaku’s pace and power.
The kind of player that dreams are made of.
And he’s a
Dare I say it ….. the best all round striker we’ve had since a certain Andy McCulloch pulled on the shirt.
That’s the best I’ve seen him play. Like a number of our players he’s improved noticeably this year.Best all round player I've ever seen here at Brentford.
Enjoy him why you can! I suspect he will be playing for a top 6 club next season.
If he goes it'll be to a top 4 team playing CL football, imo that is the only move he'll make.Best all round player I've ever seen here at Brentford.

Re Andy Mac, I've got two pics of him on the wall...and the missus doesn't mind.Andy McCulloch and Gary Bissett.
Dream team.
Garys workrate was second to none and he always gave 100%.
More good games than bad and just one of those players who gave the opponents something to think about.
Never forget the day he left.
I thought it would take a long time to see someone similar.
Andy McCulloch is just a true legend.
Lovely bloke and still my hero.
If my wife would allow me too I would put a picture of him on my wall.
Ivan is in this category.

I know what you are thinking.I was thinking more that Ivan and Bryan were Andy Mc and Stevie Phillips
Got to say that is a priceless work of art you have there.Re Andy Mac, I've got two pics of him on the wall...and the missus doesn't mind.
The big canvas one with the champagne bottle is in the spare room and the small one he autographed for me on day we beat Darlington to go up (22 Apr 78) in the bedroom.![]()
Agreed.
There's definitely a "launch" factor in some of IT's falls though.....
Got to say that is a priceless work of art you have there.
Should be made available for all us old gits to come and view![]()
Wonderful and thank you.View attachment 27662
Happy to oblige (see attachment)....hope you can view it OK. We were in the White Horse in Brentford. Also there that day, Len Bond ... and a young Ian Botham who I think was mates with Len due to the West Country connection. I asked Andy to sign the back of the photo, then at a later date bought another pic so I could display both at once.
When the BBBOT Seventies came out and we were able to meet some of the old players, I got him to sign the front of the book with the same dedication. Along with the rest of the players who were there that day of course.
Depends how many the other top scorers have had chalked off too I guess....He would be the leagues top scorer wouldn’t he? if it wasn’t for the 3 he has now had chalked off
No chance whatsoever we would let him go in January, next summer the earliest.Commentators on the Premier League feed (Optus Aust) were saying its only a matter of time before the big 6 snap him up as he is the complete package
60 Million in the January Window?
Enjoy him while we have him I reckon
I love your optimism but he won’t be picked for England while he plays with us Gareth won’t even consider himThe guy is world class. Will definitely be in the England squad by the end of the season. Only Kane is ahead of him at the moment.
Exactly. Absolutely no way he is 5’10 nowI just don't believe he's 5' 10". I reckon they don't bother updating footballer heights once they initially turn professional.
Let's wait and see, cannot see how Southgate can ignore him if he maintains his form.I love your optimism but he won’t be picked for England while he plays with us Gareth won’t even consider him
He’s given Bamford and Watkins a go after a full season and if anything doing well for us is a bigger achievement if looking at things from a club size/expectation angle. Toney’s all round play adds another dimension. Or he’ll be off to Jamaica.Let's wait and see, cannot see how Southgate can ignore him if he maintains his form.
Patrick Bamford got a cap. If he can i think i have a chance and Toney really has a chance.I love your optimism but he won’t be picked for England while he plays with us Gareth won’t even consider him
I really hope he doesn’t but I just think he won’t as it’s BrentfordLet's wait and see, cannot see how Southgate can ignore him if he maintains his form.
Perhaps we tell Southgate he's a right back...I think as well as he's been playing he'll need to add goals to his performances this season to get a call up
They love talking to him.On talkshite at 8:30
Not sure Kane is ahead of even me at the moment! The guy is world class. Will definitely be in the England squad by the end of the season. Only Kane is ahead of him at the moment.
