Andy McCulloch and Gary Bissett.Agree AB, only better.
He’s got Kane’s football brain and ability along with Lukaku’s pace and power.
The kind of player that dreams are made of.
And he’s a
Dare I say it ….. the best all round striker we’ve had since a certain Andy McCulloch pulled on the shirt.
Dream team.
Garys workrate was second to none and he always gave 100%.
More good games than bad and just one of those players who gave the opponents something to think about.
Never forget the day he left.
I thought it would take a long time to see someone similar.

Ivan is in this category.
That’s the best I’ve seen him play. Like a number of our players he’s improved noticeably this year.
I've watched his penalties again and again, and I still can't work out how he does it. You know how they say that some mystics can slow down their heart rate at will? It's like that. Ivan seconds seem twice as long as goalie seconds.

The big canvas one with the champagne bottle is in the spare room and the small one he autographed for me on day we beat Darlington to go up (22 Apr 78) in the bedroom.

As Micheal Owen said the ref should have given a penalty the corner before for manhandling Toney but didn’t as Ivan stayed on his feet. If refs want to stamp out the falling over and launching as you put it then they need to see the fouls and award free kicks penalties without players having to go to ground

Happy to oblige (see attachment)....hope you can view it OK. We were in the White Horse in Brentford. Also there that day, Len Bond ... and a young Ian Botham who I think was mates with Len due to the West Country connection. I asked Andy to sign the back of the photo, then at a later date bought another pic so I could display both at once.
When the BBBOT Seventies came out and we were able to meet some of the old players, I got him to sign the front of the book with the same dedication. Along with the rest of the players who were there that day of course.

Found out this evening he is only 5 foot 10 
Always thought he was at least 6 feet tall due to his aerial prowess. He's starting to draw attention with his performances, I'd expect a big money bid in the summer but be gutted if he left.

Anyone who doubted he could do it at this level (and there are those in the lower league who call him 'tap in Toney', well tonight will have proved it beyond any doubt. Tore the much heralded Liverpool defence a new one. So much so that they just resorted to pushing him over in the second half (fully supported by the useless ref). What a finish too for what would have been the winner. Will be interesting to see just how far offside it was...

I just don't believe he's 5' 10". I reckon they don't bother updating footballer heights once they initially turn professional.

He’s given Bamford and Watkins a go after a full season and if anything doing well for us is a bigger achievement if looking at things from a club size/expectation angle. Toney’s all round play adds another dimension. Or he’ll be off to Jamaica.

I think as well as he's been playing he'll need to add goals to his performances this season to get a call up
I think the main issue stopping Ivan getting a call up anytime soon is the fact England don't often go for direct football.
We are playing to Ivan's strengths beautifully and it is causing teams so many issues, but unless Southgate changes the way England play I just don't see it happening.

It will be the same for Ivan as what happened to Ings. Ignored when you bang in goals regularly for the Burnleys of this world but as soon as you join a "big" club you get an England call even when you're not scoring regularly. Eventually scoring form, and favourable press, will force Southgate to call Ivan up for a friendly against a lesser nation and he'll get ten minutes off the bench.
