The guy is so clever. Anyone who listens to the Totally Football podcast will know what I mean, his introductions are so clever.

A couple of examples from this weekends round up

Spurs v West Ham "Like a Tory backbenchers wet dream., the threat of a thrashing with Kane, followed by Manual relief"

and in then in the Merseyside derby

"Two Oliver Twists, and Pickfords Big Van Removal"

Him and Gary Imlach are so far ahead of other presenters in terms of wit and intelligence.

Will have to check this one out. (Thought we had agreed on Susan Boyle as your next feature?)

Agree he’s excellent though I doubt he writes most of that stuff himself - I think it’s from the pen of Nick Miller

Really?'is that true? He comes up with similar quips during the programme so I thought was all his own doing.

I reckon it's all his own stuff as he's been like it for years even dating back to ch4 Italian football drinking coffee in the piazza

Those were 100% scripted! I'm not sure it was even filmed live

Lots of Serie A football available on FREESPORTS in 20/21 here - Serie A | FreeSports

FORZA VIOLA
Yeah, but it's all sh*t now.

Back in the day live games were still a novelty and Italian football was the richest with all the best players in the world over there. It was the only time you could see the top south American and European players play.

It’a not sh*t at all. Games tend to be very attacking and high-scoring, Atalanta are one of the best teams in the world to watch and they have a genuine title race this season.
