Had all the potential to be a Bees legend but ultimately will be remembered for being a petulant boy.

Personally i hope he does enough to get us what we've got coming in add ons and sell on clauses then fades into obscurity.

****.

It's a shame I always liked Tarky before all this...

Personally, I'm disappointed to lose such a good player with great potential. But, if the stories about the fee are true this is probably for the best all round given the events of the last month. I wish him well - overall, he did a great job for us over the last two years.

As Untouchable says he could have been a legend here. One of my favourite players in the current squad. Until his actions pre-Burnley, now he can **** right off.

Sad that we have to 'support' Burnleys promotion bid but that £5m figure must be roughly right. Lets hope they go straight back down and into administration asap.

This has all worked out much better than I thought possible on 16 January. Decent money for Tarky, and Barbet stepping up to the plate in hugely impressive fashion...:sorted:

let them have a year mate - i believe it was widely "reported" that 2.5m of Gray's sell-on is dependent on them staying up a year in the Prem :)

Could of and should have been a Bee for much longer.

Normally I wish departing players all the best for the future but in this case I am finding it difficult.

I dont wish him any ill will and I respect the fact that he is concerned for his mothers health.

However I cannot get over the way he sought to force the move through.

From a purely selfish view I hope his career is as successful as we need it to be

A Slide Show of picture from his time with us (bet they don't show many of the heart in mouth moments created by the dodgy passes back to D Button, especially the Bolton game!!).

Oh great thanks for that BFC.

I think the Police are missing a trick here and should start sending victims of crime the CCTV stills of them being mugged. Should have erased him from the record books.

Great statements from smith and Giles on behalf of the club. At the right time too. Stating what we already knew yet so many as usual chose to ignore the facts and be arsey towards the club.

Time for you to find something else moan about.

Well done BFC. You come out well again

YES,I was one that did not want him playing for us again, but some remarks are far to extreme......surely the mods should now staep in.....he is gone, feckin 'el other players might read the comments.

I say good luck Tark's you fecked it up here, perhaps now your happy and we can all move on...

I was having dinner. :) A new thread was started in the "Former Bees" forum. All others are closed. That's just how we do things. All the posts wishing physical harm have gone.

Can we stop the personal abuse now, he has gone and if the reports are true we have won another lottery. 6M quid for an accident prone liability. I keep saying this and I will say it again, sloppy players do not improve, they remain sloppy their whole careers.

6M for this every week....a couple of great examples of what this chap does.

Previous Oldham manager implies there is still a sell on clause.

You do keep saying it but the same was said of Rio Ferdinand in his younger days.

It's possible imo that his next transfer could be a huge one, £12/15m to a giant. We'll see.
Either way this solution is awin win for us. BFC have made the best of a huge problem, some of it through gritted teeth i reckon but they've controlled a big issue as well as anyone could wish imho :sorted:

Did the club get some cash on the barrel? If so, f**k off bigears. Don't let the door wack you on the arse too hard as you leave. Hope the club didn't get done on this one.

I sent him a tweet. I told him I hoped his Mum was ok and that he regretted his behaviour but appreciated the club had covered for him.
I also told Moses we had better as the new full back has class that he lacks. Childish but I wasn't rude and made me feel so much better than a rant.

I prefer to remember him for his performances prior to Burnley. He is gone and for a decent fee if the comments above are right and the move suits all parties

No point in bearing grudges though. He will get neither a clap nor a boo from me if we ever face him again. It might prove quite a short term move if Burnley go up as he is far too casual to make it in the Prem IMHO.

You're a far more reasonable man than I ever gave you credit for! I am not angry with him just disappointed that a cracking player has behaved like a gutless pussy hiding behind lies rather than putting his hands up. He's a quality Championship player but too error prone to make it at Premier league yet. He also looks like he is on the same diet as me this season.

I was never known to be his biggest fan but he stood in for Bjelland and did a decent enough job for half of this season. I'd be quite sure we've got a decent amount for him and we seem to have decent cover standing by. I really can't be bothered to feel anything now he's gone and can't understand why anyone should waste any energy on petty hatred.
