Yes thanks. Celebrating with my kids. Happy holidays to you and yours.Thank you, all good here, hope all well with you.
They might have no real choice in the matter. He could be related to Tarkowski…Leeds would be mad to sell him in January as although it’s a good profit he’s in contract until summer 2024 and staying up is worth more than what they’d sell him for
To be fair he’d have to be Steve Bull to turn down Bayern to stay at Leeds! They might have no real choice in the matter. He could be related to Tarkowski…
I look forward to someone watching him twice and then popping back on here to tell us he’s better than Jensen.Patrick Roberts (still on loan from Man City !) about to join Sunderland on loan....
Constant failure wherever he's been !
But not a patch on PritchardI look forward to someone watching him twice and then popping back on here to tell us he’s better than Jensen.
Big difference between league 1 and Prem, he struggled in lower Prem sides to influence gamesSaw Pritchard playing for Sunderland a few days ago and he looked real class... if only.....
Totally agree...I was thinking more of getting him in permanently at the time he was on loan to us...would not cut it in the Premier but always a good player too watch.Big difference between league 1 and Prem, he struggled in lower Prem sides to influence games
One of the very best we’ve hadTotally agree...I was thinking more of getting him in permanently at the time he was on loan to us...would not cut it in the Premier but always a good player too watch.
Ours too. I’d hope we’d not need to be playing Roerslev at RCB.Newcastle look like they mean business so unfortunately they will be fine this season and then mid-table next. By the time we play them their team will be unrecognisable from the last game IMHO
Sadly Trippier is a level above what we can afford and they will buy their way out of troubleOurs too. I’d hope we’d not need to be playing Roerslev at RCB.
Trippier's also 31 and would jump at a last big pay-day... not quite a BFC recruitment profile.Sadly Trippier is a level above what we can afford and they will buy their way out of trouble
True but if they buy more players of that ilk in the short term they won't be relegated this season which is the number 1 aim. I certainly wasn't suggesting we would be interested - as you say he is not in the Brentford mould.Trippier's also 31 and would jump at a last big pay-day... not quite a BFC recruitment profile.
A right back isn't going to solve everythingSadly Trippier is a level above what we can afford and they will buy their way out of trouble
No see above - they will probably bring in 4 or 5 players that will keep them up this season. They are only 2 points behind Watford so fully expect them to finish above bottom 3.A right back isn't going to solve everything
If they stay up it won't matter - Man City showed it can take a number of years despite having mega riches to compete for top 4 but eventually it will happen in all liklihood. Paying 100k a week is chicken feed to the Saudis.I agree they'll stay up but the only players they'll get are mercenaries in it for the money .... not that will bother the fans though

I dare say they're looking to do so. But what are they waiting for? They've virtually unlimited funds and they knew the window was opening last weekend, so why hadn't they players already lined up and ready to sign on the dotted line?No see above - they will probably bring in 4 or 5 players that will keep them up this season.
Norwich are dead, and likely Watford, as you say, but I wouldn't rule out Sean Dyche getting Burnley's act together - they've 2 games in hand over NUFC and a much superior GD.They are only 2 points behind Watford so fully expect them to finish above bottom 3.
Putting a whole load of new players on the pitch and getting an immediate tune, isn't that straightforward.Yeah said this all along which is why I'm delighted we got wins against Everton, Watford and Villa. Newcastle will spend enough money this month to win 8 or 9 PL games and see themselves safe.
Yep one of those at home to Watford which is a massive game. However I don't think they are very good despite the first half v us - looks like 4 teams for 3 spots currently and I'd back Newcastle to just have enough to get out of trouble.I dare say they're looking to do so. But what are they waiting for? They've virtually unlimited funds and they knew the window was opening last weekend, so why hadn't they players already lined up and ready to sign on the dotted line?
So far they've only managed Trippier, whilst also being knocked back for Forest(!) by Howe's old chum, Cook.

If course but it could be almost 4 weeks and 4 games later before they have all new signings in place. I cannot see Everton selling Digne to them because they’re also potentially in a relegation battle. Coutiniho has done very little since his Liverpool days, will he really be up for a battle, likewise Aubanayang sp? Personally I’d expect Howe to be sacked, possibly before end of February over Newcastle staying up.No it's not but four or five quality signings does give them a chance against the Watford, Norwich, Burnley, Leeds, Brighton's and maybe even ourselves. It'll be tough for them but I suspect they'll spend a lot of money to bring in those four or five signing's and become a decent mid table squad. Games will be close but I think they'll get on the right side of enough games to see themselves safe.
Probably true about money, but given a choice between Newcastle and Burnley, I know which I regard as a higher profile; and also which I would choose, in his position. In both cases, the answer isn't a town in Lancashire!Aaron Ramsey rejected Burnley because he wants to go to a more "high profile" club.
If he ends up at Newcastle, then clearly its money talking and nothing else.

Ramsey an 'outgoing player' - Allegri
Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri confirms Aaron Ramsey will leave the Serie A club, describing the Wales midfielder as an "outgoing player".www.bbc.co.uk
They were saying on SSN last night that Ramsey was on £400k per week at Juve!!Probably true about money, but given a choice between Newcastle and Burnley, I know which I regard as a higher profile; and also which I would choose, in his position. In both cases, the answer isn't a town in Lancashire!
Prob just lazy journo talk..Strange this QPR link, I believe Warbs was never much of a fan of Harlee, kept trying to bin him, Liam Moore ffs at one point.
Time changes everything I know but a strange one going by history.
A bit like Brentford sign/loan player from FCM
They'll certainly spend money, but don't bank on it getting them 8 or 9 wins. It takes good coaching and desire to pick up wins, with decent skill thrown in.Yeah said this all along which is why I'm delighted we got wins against Everton, Watford and Villa.
