A mystery GPGer (who should know about these things) sent me this clue. They said "it's not a very difficult clue", but, be warned, a 50:50 chance of signing

I've already guessed Mick Mills and been told it's not Heather Mills.

Over to you!

Can’t see we would be buying from another recently promoted club
And reckon clue more related to name of player than club playing from but who knows!

Yellow bird...canary. Are we signing Natasha Snelling from Norwich Women for the womens team?

If this goes the bad side of 50:50, can you update us so we'd know?

Usually we only get clues when the deal is essentially signed, so it’s a bit odd we’re getting one when it’s only a 50:50.

Wonder what makes it 50:50, another club in for them, or a borderline work permit case?

Yeah, I suspect it's much more than 50:50 but expectation management is in vogue these days :)

Or maybe Elmohamady from Villa?

He’s teasing us. Yellow birds mean joy. In 3 languages, joy is something very similar to jojo or joyo…

Either that or…

The film joy starring Jennifer Lawrence. We’re signing Tom Lawrence…

Indeed, Big Bird is yellow. An emu is big. Rod Hull earned good money sticking his fist up an emu's arse. We're signing someone from Hull. Excited?

I suspect we are overthinking this. I suspect yellow bird is a canary. C'mon now. Pereira?

There’s a Kaio Bird Sanctuary in Japan, and there’s a young Brazilian forward called Kaio Jorge…

Tenuous at best, wouldn’t qualify as a “not very difficult” clue. Though supposedly out of contract at the end of the year, but also supposedly interesting much bigger teams.

Very narcissistic given Banana tree is in the chorus.....otherwise no bloody idea. Maybe Oliver Skipp who was on loan at Norwich last season?

Well the man Utd version will definitely be moving on this close season , no idea how good he is though
West brom version very expensive and they will try and hang on to him to give them best chance of going straight back up again but would be a great addition for us

It's hard to think that Norwich would sell us a player, no?

I would suspect if Skipp was available for loan they’d be at the front of the queue to get him.

It wasn't me that provided the clue!

And the answer was "No mate, it's not you!" 🤣

Oh f***ing hell, another new dimension!

Let's approach this is a methodical manner.

Is there anyone that we are likely to sign from Norwich?
