Bit of a stretch but taking the Chou element from Choucoune there's a Mounir Chouiar at Dijon, 22 yr old Left Winger. Been tracked by Leeds and Arsenal supposedly, not great overall stats but over 2 dribbles a game in Ligue 1...

Ok. so... doing a little more digging.. According to wiki here..

Choucoune was actually the nickname of a woman named Marie Noel Belizaire...

'Choucoune' Belizaire

Chou**** - ****aire

close?

There is a bird called a Yellowhammer which yellow and black as in the song. Maybe someone from WHU. Yarmalenko plays for Ukraine who play in yellow. Or Pablo Fornals who was at Villareal who also play in yellow. Probably not.

Yellow Bird in Esperanto is Flava Birdo.

Flavor Flav’s real name is William Jonathan Drayton.

Jonathan Drayton is Chelsea’s highly rated under-19 forward. He scored 28 goals last season in that squad, and is priced at £3.4m.

Simple*

*The veracity of any of the above has not been fact checked.

According to Wikipedia the b side is havah nigalah which is a song used by Ajax supporters.
As mentioned before, Ajax’s Hey Jude equivalent is Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds. Matthew referred to the song, or the genus of the song, rather than the lyrics. The lyrics came from a Haitian poem based on the words “ti zwazo” meaning little birds. Anyways we’re probably not buying Haller from Ajax as that would be crazy money.

I don't reckon so, the clue was only from a few days ago, so that would have been a quick turnaround to have been that player! I assume Banana (channelling Benham) would have let us know if the deal wasn't on anymore.

Ísak Bergmann Jóhannesson is the best guess I've seen so far.

If it's Isak Bergmann Johannesson then that would cement the D of F as legends, although they already are. I can see why Benham wouldn't be able to contain his excitement. Does he pass the work permit criteria? Alot of us have got to his name and he's an exciting prospect...

All the Isak Bergmann Johannesson shouts - hasn’t that already been ruled out?

Nice and easy to negotiate if it's ruled out based on our history of developing players, and the clubs that Toney is already attracting...

I thought he was ruled out too, but we don't know if we will get an answer and this would be insanely exciting - there are multiple reasons it works for the player and for us. Haha getting carried away but imagine. He really suits a Frank system from what I've seen. Also he grew up in England, so you'd expect him to want to come back.

Also he has made wise decisions in the past on his footballing career, turning down moves to big clubs to play for his current team at a ridiculously young age - linked to huge clubs. He is completely versatile and compared to Modric, but can play anywhere due to how he reads the game at this young age.

Imagine.

He was born in England so may well have a dual nationality…

I think I'm going to watch reruns of 3-2-1. Their clues are easier.

Dusty Bin... Now there's a thought. Could it be Li Bin from Shenzhen Ledman in the Chinese Division Two.? Or is our former player Dusty Rhodes going to make a comeback? He only died about 61 years ago, so you never know...

Choucoune deserts the poet for a Frenchman's favors.

A player who deserted for a Frenchman/France? Jonathan Panzo (CB) ex-Chelsea youth now playing for Dijon. Dijon were relegated last season so may want a new club. Does that cut the mustard? Probably not!

anyone concerned that the player in that photo is clearly only 11 years old?
