I was down in Devon couple of weeks ago. so called into his pub in Ashburton.
He was away on holiday, so had a great chat with his mother & son.
He is a keen golfer now, runs the pub successfully, and seems to be a regular in the boardrooms at Plymouth, Exeter, and Torquay. We chatted about his tremendous free kick ability and how the crowd would chant for him to take free kicks if within 30 yards of goal.
Does anyone know his stats for our club in the late '80s

Thought that was Blackpool at home and we won 3-2.
Alan Ball was playing in the Blackpool side.

he was with Blackpool from 1962-1966 and 1980-1981.. funny enough someone else said the same thing on Danis salman's thread:wave:

he must have scored in both games then;)

I think he scored two goals in that game and Phillips the other. We were two down with about 30 minutes to go and came back to win on a pitch resembling the Somme :D
