Nice analogy from a mate of mine yesterday..... Watching JDS at times is like watching a junior school match where there’s this one huge lad who’s clearly head and shoulders above everyone, and all the little kids just bounce off him.

He‘s matured so much in such a short space of time. We need to enjoy him while we can.

Pure class. Hybrid of Patrick Vieira and Gunter Netzer. Power, directness, acceleration, pace and grace.
Patrick Vieira is the one! I have said it before, and will again, IMO our style of play over the past few seasons is reminiscent of Arsenal in the early days of Wegner. Patrick Vieira was a key player for them, and Josh is fast becoming ours. A very powerful, strong, but highly skilled box to box midfielder who will get us promoted.

.............please state his unique qualities...............
He plays in midfield, but tactically versatile - - at times even slips into left back to receive the ball, allowing Henry to push on. Drives forward and beats players with ease and strength; creates key chances; excellent range of passing; can score long range; AND can use both feet adeptly.

There’s no player like him in this league.

Unique.

If his development continues on the current trajectory I have no doubt he will be a premiership player next season with us or somewhere else. I just love those driving runs through the middle, you just don't see that often in a player these days.
