Least surprising news ever. Might start a transfer speculation thread about him returning here as it’s about as likely as Harlee!

That's probably the end for him now in English football, assuming he will not consider dropping down into L1 and has zero suitors in the Championship.

It'd be a good match, but with both Brumscum and QPR battling relegation and JM having been out for a year with injury and having only played about 10 games in the last 18 months, surely QPR wouldn't be dumb enough to take him on until the end of the season?

I still think he’s got a few more decent ‘gigs’ in him yet. You can picture the scene now in a boardroom like the Spaghetti’s or some other struggling Championship team...

“What about Josh McEarchran?”

“The ex-Chelsea wonder kid? We could never afford him.”

“Yep - played in the Champions League under Ancelotti at 17. Has a had a couple of niggles But is available on a free for £15K a week- just needs an arm round the shoulder and bit of steering and we could be the ones to finally unlock all that potential”

“Sounds a no-brainer. Make the call”

He's from Oxford & his brother is at Oxford City.

Oxford United wouldn't surprise me. Not that he'd suit league one at all.

Benches and treatment rooms only differ in comfort between the divisions!

He was a four year crock, cared f*** all about the club or fans. He stole a living out of this club.
I got loads of abuse because I thought he was a bad signing.
His ankles were sponsored by Wedgewood
and his shirt by the Air Ambulance

I know what you mean as did a lot of people that did not rate him. The amount of money that he cost, you wanted more than a good pass throughout the game, and that was when he was fit enough to play.

He's just not built for English football...he needs to go to a slower, more technical league. There's a reason he looked good in the Dutch league.

Not many players who when you see his name on here you think ‘oh no’ - I don’t like being unpleasant in the main but he wasn’t a good signing was he? I still can’t believe he was offered another contract.

he's been our worst ever signing imo when you take into account the money he cost.
Depends how you define worst.

There have been signings who have been awful, Murray Jones is just one example.

Thought it was only a job that he didn’t really enjoy.
got very well paid for something you have to be committed to once on the field of battle

Met him at ascot bought me a pint seemed like a decent chap. Loaded from property development and loved his time at brentford but for the injuries he probably would not have made as much from property

No I agree that there were certain games he was very good on the eye. But as with previous comments that was only in games where the opposition would fully sit off us and give us time on the ball. You won't get that very much in this league so in most games his inclusion was counter productive.

The archetype one game in five player.
I think you've got that spot on, NLB. And i would add to that, somebody who never cared enough to work any harder. I do feel he believed the hype, and thought all he had to do was turn up. Watching him play was so strange, like he simply did not realise that he had to run and tackle. Maybe he just thought that spraying around a few through balls was all he had to do. Compare his work rate with someone like Rico or Josh. He must have had the talent somewhere, but sad to say I don't think we ever really saw it.

He’d probably suit MLS pretty well. But having too much too young will have mentally debilitated many less able players.

Love that MK Dons fans wetting themselves over this. Really surprised anyone is taking a chance on him given his consistant injury record

Obviously still looking to fulfil his ambition of playing for England........perhaps the national tiddlywinks team will come calling (assuming that his wrist is OK).
