I think the club rate Sorensen. He certainly has the physical attributesIf he leaves then we have Goode and Sorenson as our CB back up. Is that enough? Should we be looking at another one? I'm not entirely convinced re Sorenson to be honest though he did do well at AFC by all accounts..
Technically sound, big and strong, reads situations well. Pace lacking? Then again, Bobby Moore was no Usain Bolt.I think the club rate Sorensen. He certainly has the physical attributes
Indeed, A really stark example of how small the margins are. He was playing pretty well and looked likely to retain his place until a rush of blood led to a red card and three games out. And that opened the door for others and he never got back in again. He never let us down and I hope he gets a good moveShame as hes a decent player and was unlucky to lose his place. Pinnock has been class though.

Yes, there seems to be a lot of revisionism in his player thread to say he’s not up to it when he was pretty good and made 50 appearances over two seasons competing against Mepham, Konsa, Jansson and Pinnock- about £50m of CBs! So he was behind them but that didn’t make him bad. The problem is more that he’s close but no cigar so is good enough to get first team football at a similar level whereas Sorenson and Goode are pressing to establish at that level and are a way off finding it frustrating. Although we’ve not seen any particular publicly reported interest I’d expect there to be enough for him to get a decent move and us to get a decent profit.Indeed, A really stark example of how small the margins are. No, he wasn't, but he also played over 50 years ago when it was a different game.Technically sound, big and strong, reads situations well. Pace lacking? Then again, Bobby Moore was no Usain Bolt.
Agree, but also the bar continues upwards. JJ is probably at his peak where both Goode and Sorensen have potential to improve. The Dofs would appear to be happy with this current situation and that's good enough for me. Also the window is still open, although unlikely we could see another CB signing. And if the worst happened my guess is that we can recall Racic.Yes, there seems to be a lot of revisionism in his player thread to say he’s not up to it when he was pretty good and made 50 appearances over two seasons competing against Mepham, Konsa, Jansson and Pinnock- about £50m of CBs! Dont think you call recall players from loan these days. It's either a full or half season loan.Agree, but also the bar continues upwards. personally think 4 CBs of which one is totally inexperienced is leaving us very light, especially given how long Pontus was out last season.. Unless we're thinking that Dalsgaard will eventually end up there? In which case we probably need to bring in another RB!Agree, but also the bar continues upwards. But thats when he was playing?Would like to keep him. Points dropped at Cardiff and Luton when Jansson was also missing were key to us being so far behind WBA at lockdown.
We didn't have an issue last season with three plus Racic coming through. JJ has been upgraded, he doesn't need to spend another year getting splinters in his arse and we don't need 3 when HD can fill in if necessary.personally think 4 CBs of which one is totally inexperienced is leaving us very light, especially given how long Pontus was out last season.. It's uncanny.I can see him going out on loan to Turkey or somewhere
Guessing that there is a pretty decent loan fee and that a year of playing every week will boost his market value at the end for us to sell permanently.Surprised it’s a loan? Is it with a view to buy? How much longer has he got on his contract? Guess it frees up a likely fairly substantial wage
Their stadium is named after Erdogan...Isn’t Kasimpasa the side funded by Erdogan or his cronies?? Can’t believe we’re doing business with this mob.....Istanbul a truly great city, but why these CU‘s??
Forgot about that.A legend simply for booting the ball into the stand containing those brummie idiots.

If Goode lives up to his name we will be fine.Good luck to him. I just wonder if we have the strength in depth in terms of quality.
I don't think he was daft red at Wigan and he was always good for a mistake or twoShame as hes a decent player and was unlucky to lose his place. Pinnock has been class though.
When is a red "not daft" For me he was sticking up for a team mate which we never used to. (cost him his place tho)I don't think he was daft red at Wigan and he was always good for a mistake or two
We should not knock him. He was signed as the 'Third' Centre Back and as such he has given the Club two good Seasons. Thanks JJ!I don't think he was daft red at Wigan and he was always good for a mistake or two
