I watched Hull vs Everton and KLP was very impressive (I realise playing Everton isn't much to go off 😉).

Would be a great option for the WB and WF roles, clearly a versatile player who has many a great year ahead of him.

He would be a top signing.

We had a bid rejected for him in the summer. No surprise we are going back for him. An exciting prospect.

Don't want to throw a spanner in the works, but I think this one is more likely to be a summer signing.

Last time Hull sold their best player (s) in the January window, is ended so well for them! They barely won another game and went down. Don't expect them to be that stupid again - they're not safe yet.

Though we could always offer the sweetener of Forss on loan given that KLP can play as a forward.

On televised Hull v Stoke game yesterday commentator said that Hull had been in contact with a PL striker with a view to a loan....Forss possibly ?

I think it’d be to the mutual benefit of both clubs. Forss would I think score for fun with the right support and regular starts there and that’d get them up the table. At a sensible price we suddenly start to look like having a pipeline of players up front while having time to ease him in. Ditto Johnson. Getting both would be great at the right price.

At the very worst a really sound set of buys if we somehow go down.

Hull are currently in the middle of a take-over.. not sure this will get done this window but our interest has been long with this KLP

Spence looks the real deal, was impressed last season with him too.
I agree. Leeds rumoured to be offering £10m. Easy money for Boro and weakens a rival.

Would be surprised then if the first thing they do is sell one of their best players? Suspect this will have to go on the backburner..
Not necessarily. An offer is still an offer. If we offer the right money he will go.

Crossed wires......I meant that the change of ownership at Hull City will posssibly facilitate an out-going sale under the new regime.
...and possibly not

Maybe, suspect it will be harder though. They're going to want to be seen to be being positive and selling their jewel without a replacement is prob not the impression they'll want to make from the off..

Even if the money is too good to turn down? I suspect their finances aren’t that great.

Says we watched him as a striker in a 3-4-2-1 in their 2-0 win vs Hull on Wednesday. If we were to sign him as a striker then surely Forss goes on loan?
Possibly in the opposite direction and to them.

I think you're right. If it weren't for the fact Forest have Davis, It's possible Bees would have used Forss as a loan move for the Johnson transfer, imagine they made do the same here maybe?

How's this one going?
Lyall mentioned him today as a player we were interested in along with Johnson and Mudryk. Think he’d be more around the 10 million mark, whereas the other 2 would be closer to 20, so maybe the most likely of the 3.
