Kingstonian Joint Chairman Malcolm Winwright said: “This is more positive news for all concerned in the process of AFC Wimbledon returning to Merton.

We continue to enjoy a full and open relationship with Erik and his board, together with David Growns and other members of the Dons Trust Board, who continue to assist us on a number of fronts.”

I wonder why they don't move into the athletics stadium next door? Could be upgraded with that "ring-fenced" donation! And they get to stay in Kingston!

Not overly impressed with this. Is it really in the best interests of K's, or is it just the only option being dressed up as a great future?

It's the only option and they have to dress it up as AFC have paid them off to keep them quiet.

Moving to the Golf Course in Chessington is not a solution and there are all sorts of dodgy dealings going on that would make Doug White look like an angel.

A win over bottom side Met. Police has pushed them into mid table, in the early stages of the season.

What is the latest with their ground situation, haven't heard anything for a while.

Wimbledon granted planning for Plough lane, make your mind up time for Ks Chessington looking most likely.

Given Lionel Road situ, Plough Lane wont be ready for years!

But Kingstonian will have already been kicked out, Councillor Davies will see to that.

The council needs to build new houses on green belt land in Chessington. Which by coincidence has been awarded to company that has same directors as a another company that Councillor Davies stood down from once he became head of the planning committee.

Pure coincidence I'm sure.

Tolworth if that is the case. So all the self righteous AFCW supporters can bury their collectives in the sand and pretend that nothing happened. Kingstonian usurped. Hypocrites.

I hate Wimbledon almost as much as Fulham.

They want to build in Chessington

If this happens they can now say

Chessington is nearer to Kingston than Leatherhead !!

Strange comment about being able to play Saturday and Monday

I cant think why Hampton or Met Police would not offer this ??

It's definitely a strategy to make Chessy feel like a (sort of) return home. Sadly, I can't see them surviving long enough for a new ground to be built. They will fizzle out of existence at Leatherhead I fear, crowds will be too low.

I remember seeing them at home in 1999 when they were top of the Conference. Got a crowd a shade over a 1,000 I seem to remember.

Last game for them under the lights at Kingsmeadow.

Yep, should arrive in a few minutes and looking forward to having a beer in the sun (or what's left of it) with Jbolas (his round). Need the hooped Brazil to put on a show tonight!

Hope they get munched! Can never forget how miserable I was on the 65 bus after they won at GP in the FA Cup!

Fantastic 4-2 win over third placed Leiston this afternoon, although they are still in the bottom four.

Table I have seen has them a point clear.

Confusion of Folkestone points.

Big issue is last game is v Title chasing Havant

Played really well today. Put together a few good results since the new manager was installed. On today's showing they should be fine, other results didn't exactly go their way though.

That sounds about right.

I think the table I was looking at hadn't been updated.

K's win 1-0 at Merstham to stay up, pleased for them.
Saw the last game at Richmond Rd, then the first game at Kingsmeadow,
now unfortunately they play their last game at Kingsmeadow this Saturday.
Next season they play at Leatherheads ground, and Chelsea Ladies will
play at Kingsmeadow, what a joke.

Need to get a new ground of their own pretty damn quick otherwise it will be a short reprieve.

The old BBC Sports ground has been derelict for nearly 10 years now, would be
a good place to build a small stadium, at least its close to a station and on a bus route.

I have heard that Leatherhead are now planning of moving out soon from Fetcham Grove

So the Ground Share may not be long
