I spoke to Les at the AFC Wimbledon cup tie last season. Met him many years ago at a K's game too. Really nice fella and top draw badge collection too.

K's got a 7-1 shoeing at Dorking Wanderers today.
Things could be worse, could be a Staines fan.

1 point from their last 11 games, Dean Brennan has been and gone as manager since the last post on this thread, they have spent a lot of money as well this season. Terrible times for K’s.

That would be the AFC Wimbledon money.

I thought they were supposed to put that aside for the future

Dean and his assistant Stuart Maynard depart from the K’s after five games in charge.

Kingstonian FC can announce that manager Dean Brennan and assistant Stuart Maynard have resigned from their posts with immediate effect.

Dean and Stuart joined the club last month after previous manager Leigh Dynan departed the club, and they were in charge for five games, drawing the first match and being beaten in the other four, including today’s 3-2 loss to Burgess Hill Town.

We would like to wish Dean and Stuart all the best in their future careers.

Eight points off the bottom three.
They should have enough, but have just lost to the bottom two sides.

I really hope so but where else would the money have come from? Poor crowds and no ground so hardly the foundations for their large budget which has seen them (allegedly) paying £600pw for their star striker (who has now left).

I fear that is the case, the (inadequate) new ground money is being spunked on a terrible and expensive squad.

Aparrently the KT Dons money is not being used, but there is someone splahing the cash.
There must come a time where he will say enough is enough as K's haven't won for 12 games, having lost 11 of them.

Despite that poor run they are still 8 points clear of the relegation zone.

Although they lost they were one of the better teams I've seen at Brightlingsea this season, played a very high tempo game and caused a few problems but seemed to run out of gas and ideas as the game went on, amazed they are on such a bad run

Thanks. Whoever is putting that money in is mental, all that expense for a relegation battle, terrifying times for K’s.

Suffered their sixth defeat in a row, and 12th in 13, the other was a draw but should have enough to avoid relegation, being eight points clear with 5 games left.

3-0 win against March Town United to progress to the 3rd qualifying round of the FA cup, took a while for the first goal to come but easy winners in the end. Crowd of 227.

At ‘home’ today to Weston Super Mare in the 3rd Qualifying round of the FA Cup, hoping to reach the 4th Qual round for the first time since 2001, when they made it to the 4th round proper, knocking us out on the way.

Up the Hooped Brazil!

1-1.

WSM scored an injury time penalty.

I was there with my lad who plays for Ks U10s. Ks went down to 10 men and that’s when WSM got on top. Tuesday night for the replay. 🤞🏻 fingers crossed.

Oh, I might have to go to this as it's down the road from me. Any ideas how I would get tickets for the away end?

I suspect just turn up on the day, the majority of the away end will be yours.

There was a decent 20-30 Ks supporters there to watch them win 4-1. 4th round tie v Dartford awaits them with a potential 1st round fixture following that - the first time since 'you know when'.
A decent game given the blustery conditions. Ks kept the ball well on the deck and looked particularly sharper in the second half.
And credit to the Ks support, they made a hell of a lot of noise and had some classic chants.

Great game though. End to end stuff, good physical game.
K’s took the lead with a 35 yard shot which zipped off the 3G pitch, then went 2 nil up
in the second half, gave away a couple of soft goals, albeit another 30 yard shot, but K’s
gave the ball away. Almost won it late on, hit the post. Think things are on the up for K’s:)

I assume that the Maccy players are on strike then? Kings probably can’t believe their luck if they’re playing a pick’n mix side.

Yes this was the Mac kids team rather than the Big Macs

Brilliant result. 225 K’s fans in a crowd 996. Hoping for a Friday or Sunday home tie in Round 2.
