Biggest Cup Tie for years and they are letting U18s in for free
For the first 25 minutes Lewes played really well, but K’s were level at half time.Came from a goal down to beat Lewes 3-1, their fifth win in a row.
Did you read that the women at Chelsea had a record crowd of 4790 on Sunday ??
Does that mean they will want to move out as well and let Kingstonian back as its too small for them
Er, they didn't buy the ground, they bought the lease, for £2.4m (a lease which K's couldn't afford to buy themselves, btw). And they allowed K's to share the ground while they were there.
Meanwhile, I don't know where you got your "£40m" from. When they sold the remaining lease to Chelsea, the fee was widely reported to be £2m, half of which they appear to have given back to K's, even though they were under no obligation to do so:
Meanwhile, there is no (good) reason why Chelsea couldn't also have permitted K's to go on playing at Kingsmeadow.
Might not the owners of the ground, Kingston Borough Council, have put pressure on them to do so?
Or is that all AFC Wimbledon's fault too?
Went to this game. K’s should have been 3-0 up in first half, but with the wind behind them, Bognor came back stronglyA point from a 1-1 draw at Bognor, but K's are kind of in no mans land in eleventh 13 points from the Play Offs and 14 from the relegation places.
