So do i. But the whole if he got injured in a meaningless hame post really gets my goat.

The FA Cup is special.

We have a great side and are easily going to stay up.

If the draw opens up who knows what we could achieve!

Why wouldn't we pick a really strong side!
No argument

Had a brain freeze for their first goal, when Moutinho received the ball back he made no effort to close the gap instead just stood their like a lemon with his hands behind his back. Shocker

I’d like to see him at RWB they way he was getting forward in the 2nd half he was very deadly
Not for me. He is class, I’m not disputing that he can’t play. But he’s found himself in advanced wide areas recently and without being too harsh he looks a bit uncomfortable. Pace as well.

Keep him in his best position.

He can do that from RCB as long as someone, like Nørgaard, drops back to cover. Not too difficult a tactic.

Exactly this...reminds me of a young Hermann the way he brings the ball forward. Would be wasted as a RWB as you say. However he links well with RWB as the RCB & it was no coincidence we saw Sergi's best performances in that position when linking with Ajer.

Top, top, top signing this chap! Our one big success in the PL transfer market so far, hopefully Eriksen will soon eclipse that though…

One word... Pace! Where Pontus and Pinnock have to be on it 100% mistakes are costly because can't recover quickly. Ajer one can cover their mitsakes or his own.

THIS is what a Premier League CB looks like. Absolute quality.. How their guy didn't get a yellow for that assault on him late in the game I'll never know..
I thought the referee looked as he was going to his pocket for a yellow, but appeared to change his mind. Thought Gallagher should have been booked too for a tackle ( which would have been better at Twickenham) with no intention of going for the ball. Viera has turned Palace into a team of thugs

Mentioned this in the Referee Watch thread. My first instinct was that it was even borderline red as it looked naughty from behind. Would like to see it again but was it at least yellow card and I'm sure as Beeian says, the ref was going for card but played on and changed his mind.

The worrying thing is, he was struggling for the rest of the game after this foul so just hoping it's nothing serious.

Hopefully the fact that he was able to play on means that the knock (or whatever he picked up) isn’t too bad.

Can’t help but think we should be playing him as RB/RWB, he is far more suited there than Canos. Can only think it is to maintain balance as a right footed CB in a back 3. MBS can’t play on the right as too one footed, Pontus is best in the middle and Pinnock is a far better CB playing on left in his natural position.

It’s a tricky one. We need him playing in two positions!

Had some very good forward runs yesterday a couple of us were a bit concerned when he went down towards the end of the game . If Ive got it right we had used our 3 subs , so playing on hope he's not caused a bigger problem

Would be the tallest RWB ever I reckon 😂

In the 3-5-2 I think he’s much better with a more advanced RWB alongside him.

Canós, although he has his faults, is probably a more suitable option there than Roerslev, for that reason.

It was a different story when we were playing more conservative defenders in Ajer’s position, like Zanka/Goode.

He went down before we brought Shandon on

Didn't look particularly serious, was in front of us. Thought it looked more like cramp

Good problem to have, when the player is so good you can't play him enough.
Hope he is OK. Looked to be struggling last 15 minutes with either cramp or the dreaded hamstring. Hope it's the first as the latter could be another long period out.
