The gap between Toney and the midfield is the issue.

Jensen and Jansson on now please Thomas, and tell Fosu that Forss is coming on in 10 unless he steps up.
The gap between Toney and the midfield is the issue.
It didn’t take long, did it?I can't believe the flak Marcondes is getting above.
why didn’t Fosu challenge though? Went in half heartedly, in two minds and allowed Samuel to turn. Rico needs to get forward it’s the only threat down the left hand sideRico cant stay up field when Osayi Samuel is so speedy
I agree with sorenson purely because I think these next 15 minutes with his team in changing room, he will probably be told he made a huge mistake and could look to rectify with his next foul.Janelt is absolute class. Great ball for Mbeumo in injury time whose first touch lets him down. Winnable but we need to change Sorenson and possibly Marcondes if Jensen has the legs.
Thought Mbeumo has looked dangerous.Look, guys (and any gal who may be on here!), we cannot be as good as we were last season because of the changes. Toney is certainly as good as Ollie was at this time last season, but Benrahma has not been replaced (skill-wise), Mbeumo is a shadow of his former self, as is Henrik. Until we sort out that right side, we will struggle. We no longer pull teams all over the pitch because of these weaknesses and because of that Toney does not get the freedom that Ollie did. Oh, and Marcondes, bless him, has only ever been a hard tryer; think Eddie Hutch.
this game is being lost in the midfield. Janelt and Da Silva have been doing their work. Someone isn’t.I can't believe the flak Marcondes is getting above.
I agree needs to make changes. Thought BM was doing ok though. Taking players on and winning free kicksBack 4 have been ok but up against it, We had three players running back into our area tow looking to cut out the cross, all HD has to do is stay with his player but he just ignores him and he runs behind him for a tap in.
qpr are good up front but they seem to have 3-4 players unmarked across the middle.
Playing counter attack is fine If your two wingers can beat a player or make a cheeky pass but when all they do is lose it or get brushed off the ball it just comes back again and again.
BM had one or two decent runs but other than that had been a total nightmare again. Ooor control, bottling out of 50/50’s, won’t head it, can’t cross it, can’t pass it, can’t beat a man and can’t shoot anymore.
Fosu is a energetic kid who always seems to be the wrong side of the ball.
Janelt is doing OK, JDS trying to create stuff but he is all on his own.
TF needs to be brave at half time become of we leave this until 65 minutes we lose this game,
feel free to point out what I have missed so far.It didn’t take long, did it?
Ridiculous - he was one of the better players first half!I can't believe the flak Marcondes is getting above.
This is the wrong game to let Rico stay up field, he needs to defend against the threat of Samuelwhy didn’t Fosu challenge though? Went in half heartedly, in two minds and allowed Samuel to turn. Rico needs to get forward it’s the only threat down the left hand side
Agree. Zero structure to our midfield. Just 3 guys following the ball and leaving huge gaps behind them. Why is JDS doing Janelts job? JDS needs to be 15 yards further up the pitch
He's been one of our better players. Hasn't given the ball away.It didn’t take long, did it?
You’re missing nothing, full house confirmation bias.feel free to point out what I have missed so far.
Some very good passing, worked very hard, tracked back well. A long way from being the worst Bees' player and more than Jensen did Saturday.other than not score when he should have done what else has he done In 45 minutes?
Because he’s our best ball progresser and we need to get the ball up the pitch some way other than hoofing it.Why is JDS doing Janelts job? JDS needs to be 15 yards further up the pitch
He's been one of our better players. Hasn't given the ball away.
Then someone needs to drop in. If Rico sits back then QPR have nothing to worry about on the left side. This is the wrong game to let Rico stay up field, he needs to defend against the threat of Samuel
Exactly He's having to push up to create threat. Was still 4 v 2 for their goal, could have defended that attack betterwhy didn’t Fosu challenge though? Went in half heartedly, in two minds and allowed Samuel to turn. Rico needs to get forward it’s the only threat down the left hand side
Of course Marcondes should have done better with that, though he did win the ball to get into the position. However, if you didn't see any of the positive things he did I can only assume your mind is fixed and eyes closed. The brilliant crossfield ball to Fosu which created the first chance and his role in the build up to the goal were two thinsgs you must have seen. A lot of the other link up play perhaps not if you weren't looking but my feeling was his display and an improved effort from Bryan were positives fro the half.other than not score when he should have done what else has he done In 45 minutes?
Would love to see his stats because EM has looked to be working very hard to me.this game is being lost in the midfield. Janelt and Da Silva have been doing their work. Someone isn’t.
What a load of crap. He's the only one pressing or getting close to Toney, has been involved in most of our best attacking play...this game is being lost in the midfield. Janelt and Da Silva have been doing their work. Someone isn’t.
It’s now though not Saturday. Some very good passing, worked very hard, tracked back well. A long way from being the worst Bees' player and more than Jensen did Saturday.

So you are ok with it being the cause of us conceding, to try and be a little better going forward?Because he’s our best ball progresser and we need to get the ball up the pitch some way other than hoofing it.
See UnsungZero aboveIt’s now though not Saturday.
As an attacking midfielder he has had one shot when he should have scored. What else has he done? And when you say very good passing - when exactly and to what end product?
and yes I agree. Some others have been worse.
