Osayi Samuel really is a threat how about a cheeky January bid to really piss them off , thank heavens for Rico , would certainly solve our wide player problems .

Warbs not happy about Sorensen red - to be fair he has a point as he was last man. Dont agree that Kane red wasn't justified - 2nd yellow was blatent.

4th and we havnt hit top form yet. We should try and sign Bright Samuel from them in jan, he could make the difference between playoffs and top two.

Playing pretty poorly and on 23 points. Oh just you wait for us to click
every championship season is a marathon not a sprint but this year it’s effectively a marathon running up an incline the whole way. I believe the tactics we are using to keep games tight and preserve energy are absolutely deliberate.

Loving the salty Warburton interview. Beautiful to see. Thought he might cry at one point. I hope MB quietly suggests to him after the game that he hires a set piece coach.

He’ll almost certainly have better offers but worth a phone call.

Great result and we were comfortable after the second goal. But before that I was worried. We didn't look like we were playing a derby. Too few players looked proper committed. Addition of Jansen injected some much needed passion. Before that, I hate to say it, but Shepherds Bush looked better. Sorensen was a lucky boy in my sons' opinion though I wasn't convinced it was a real foul or a goal scoring opportunity and Ha Ha got lucky later, so everything evened out (not that Warbs seemed to think that). Class goals from us and theirs was from one serious defensive lapse. Well pleased I was anaesthetised by a 10 litre delivery from my local brewery.

I'm guessing part of this is relinquishing possession more, something we used to always have the larger portion of during games up to last season.

Sore son was a clear red for me but there was no mention of the guy that should have had a 2nd yellow when he fouled Toney and nothing given
Toney's goal ruled out for offside was level so we're also entitled to complain. Even game and our forward line is still not firing as a unirt. Toney was brill and his workrate is Watkins-like

Was it? He used his shoulder not his hands so be a bit harsh as at that speed not even possible to determine whether was a fair shoulder charge and Sorensen just more powerful . Think ref used common sense on this one

Probably was offside under var but without var wasn’t clear and obvious and looked level(ish)!
having said that how cooly did he take the (offside) goal!

Wonder if Warburton will mention the fact that Hamalainen should have been sent off for two bookable offences before the Sorenson incident?
Of course he didn’t but that foul on Toney when he was already on a yellow really ought to have seen him off.

I dont think he has. A clear goal scoring opportunity to me is a player with the ball fully under control with a very definite chance of scoring - neither of those were the case. Clear yellow but a convenient get out clause for Warburton in his latest disappointing management role.

Not read through the thread but watched on ifollow. It was truly sh*t tonight. Kept freezing and dropped a minute every 10. My mates were texting about goals and sending offs I'd not even seen yet

He had it under control and was through on goal until Mads barged him over from behind so 100% red card I'm afraid - if was the other way around we would be screaming blue murder. Equally Toney was onside so you could argue 2 bad decisions to balance things out somewhat

Sorry to be the doom and gloomer tonight but the comments from so called fans on this website tonight right up to half time and just beyond beggars belief. Moaning, slagging off, know allswere right to the fore, embarrassing.
Any chance we could have a forum just for them....they are the same culprits and it p.ss.s me and I’m sure many others. No wonder the sensible contributors are leaving the site.
They enjoy spouting out their bile every time we appear to them to be losing, and probably have rarely played above Sunday pub football...they are a bloody pain in the arse.
Right I feel better now ....we’ll done Bees, a great victory,

He did not have it under control! He had taken one touch and that didn't get it fully under.

Judging by his other “effort” coming onto a ball on his left side the corner flag would have been more at risk than the goal.

We can agree to disagree on this one - the touch looked worse because he got clattered just after. All the pundits agreed it was a red including Sammy Saunders so make of that what you will 🤷‍♂️

To be fair we’d be fuming if that had been against us. It was a red. However I’m not sure the Toney goal was offside.
I didn't think it was offside either, but having looked at it 4 times now I think it was his arm that made the lino think he was offside.

I don't have to agree with them. It would have been a really good effort to comfortably slot that away aka as a clear goalscoring opportunity. The rule is there for players taken when almost certain to score, that absolutey wasn't nt the case. I'd make it a 3 in 10 chance of scoring.

(1) should have been red card and possibly a penalty

(2) Toney not offside
wrong on one and a half counts.

Even Stevie Wonder could see it wasn’t a penalty. As for a sending off, as TF said it could have gone either way.

When the ball was played, Ivan was offside.

I stopped reading after so many negative posts in this thread earlier.

This was a great result. QPR played well in the first half and we scored against the run of play. After that, we improved, despite the sloppy goal we gave away.

Janelt was my MoM. Toney was superb once again and was unfortunate to have one chalked off for offside. Fosu put in a shift and doesn’t deserve the criticism I read earlier. Bryan was much improved from earlier games and the half time substitutions, much as I was surprised by them, were a master stroke. Well done Thomas.

As for Warbs? Miserable bad loser.

And (3) Rangers left back (Finnish bloke??) should have been sent off in first half for 2 Yellow cards.....

Loved the full use of the bench. The more they do it, the better they'll get at it. They're not even firing on all cylinders yet, but we have real quality that will out in the end. And we can avoid the slight downturn s of last season.

Should have been a goal there. Janelt as the 4 was not shielding.

Sorenson needs to come off. He should have been sent off.

Marcondes needs to come off. I don’t know what his role in the team is and neither does he.

QPR are playing really well. We are poor.
:pop::sorted:

Cracking performance from that lad.
