Reet big club, them lot! 1968 Football League Cup winners, 1972-73 European Cup-Winners Cup finalists, 1974-75 European Cup finalists but I don't recall them ever winning the Football League Community Club of the Year award.

Trains for this go on sale on Friday lunchtime - just asked East Coast via Twitter.

Judging by previous weekends you can get there and back for under £30 if you book as early as possible. 9:03 and 10:03 are the obvious ones out, and I'd imagine most people would be on the 18:05 back. There's also a 19:40. All four of those trains are £14.60 for an adult single.

East Coast are right bastards for getting rid of the cheapest prices so quickly.

Still - up on the 9:03 and back on the 18:05. Can't wait for this one.

Booked 6 for £202 (4 adults/2 kids) via eastcoast.co.uk
They don`t do insurance though, which would prefer to get for a Feb game tbh

£41 on the gate for Wigan.

If it's over £30 in advanced for us I'm not going. Not getting ripped off to sit in a half filled stadium of a club of premier yesteryear.

I know we're 5th in the league but would Leeds really class us as category A?

Time for them to get zero away fans in attendance. Not fair on our boys but football fans need to vote with their feet against this sort of nonsense.

Boro was 31 , if this is 36 that is 1 and a half pints

By that rationale though someone could charge £40 and we'll say "it's only a pint more than Leeds". I very begrudgingly paid the £31 for Boro but this is a step too far. You have to draw the line somewhere.

Everyone who has booked trains will just have to pay whatever it is.
mid £30s is taking the piss a bit. Norwich is a lovely stadium but the other thread reckons £35 there (£20 kids) and the away seats offer the worst view in the ground tbh :(

Haven't got the link but have been told that there is a £40 first class day return offer on.

Was told this day after we bought standard class returns for about £55.

We paid £40 returns a few weeks back on 10ish out of Kings X.

Im boycotting this one unless its less than £30. Im fed up of being ripped off. I'm sure it'll be a cracking trip to those that go and the way Leeds are playing it'll surely be 3 points!!

Paying over £30 to go to that dump is outrageous! Should be £25 tops.

If anyone's still thinking about buying train tickets for Leeds, I have a pair of tickets, travelling out from Kings Cross at 10.03 and back from Leeds on the 18.05.

PM me for details etc. :sorted:
