We should be allowed to swap the fixture. Complete incompetence from Leicester.
No because Qpr will be at home on the 6th and Brentford and Qpr alternate home games
Just like Chelsea and Fulham

Not sure if Leicester have any restrictions apart from Rugby ?

And a carnival

We could play on the Saturday no problem. Looks like I’m sticking to the car again this season otherwise it’s risking racking up a hat full of unused train tickets.

Son works on Sunday. He can switch but saves those for home games. Annoying as missed Leicester away last season as on Sunday.

What happens if both teams play at home at 3pm. Does the sky fall in?

No the Met Police have asked that they do not

If it was just a one off they would consider it based on the opponents of each club and the size of crowd

So they can play at same time in EFL Cup Round 1 ...

They don't need police permission.

Which clubs don't need permission

I thought each Football needs a safety certificate for each game

If the Police object to a match occurring at a certain time then the Cert will not be issued ???

They get one per a period of time. Typically a season. (IIRC)

Anyway, if we can play at home when Fulham do, then any argument that it is impossible to do so when QPR are at home is hogwash

True, but they might not be so keen on us, QPR AND Fulham playing at the same time

A weekend in Leicester, what more could you ask for?
I did the weekend in Leicester last season, ok helps as I stayed with family but many Indian restaurants to choose from for some exceptionally decent curry .... the nightlife is quite decent also if you know where to go ...

As I said earlier

Fulham and Chelsea same day is a NoNo
Brentford and QPR similar ( but not as strong objection by Police as the one above )

So NORMALLY
Its Brentford and Chelsea together
Fulham and QPR together the next week

Then around the time we play the Chelsea game its

Brentford and Fulham together one week
Chelsea and QPR the next week.

Last point on this as its going off topic

We have 19 Home Games
13 on same home week as Chelsea
6 on different week
The 3 around Oct 18th
The 3 around Apr 25th

This is nonsense. Two small grounds.

In fact I just checked last season's fixtures. I have to get all the way to September before I found a Saturday on which both QPR and BFC played matches at home. QED.

You look at the fixtures next Thursday then and post how many weeks next season we are at home same day as QPR then ??

FFS, I just looked at last season and disproved your theory about Ken vetoing QPR and BFC playing on the same day.

It’s more that Chelsea can’t be scheduled to play at home the same time as Fulham, so it has to be either QPR or us.

therefore as a result we can’t (don’t) play at home the same time as QPR.

That's not the League

That was the EFL Cup when both drawn at home
And there was a special case if I remember as all 4 West London got drawn at home

QPR were playing on the Friday and Leeds were in town at Fulham

So they made Chelsea play Wednesday and all the others played on Tuesday

This whole discussion was about the pairings in the League Fixture List
