No FA Cup on iPlayer. There’s FA Player or whatever it’s called. Which we could watch the last round on but not sure if you can do that if one of the tv Co.s is broadcasting.

I used to have BT Sport, but cancelled it because there was only something once in a while that I wanted to watch on it.
This match is the once in a while exception, but still don’t think BT Sport or BT Entertainment are worth it on a regular basis.
I’m not sure whether you can pay a one-off charge to BT to watch this match?

Assume there will bee an audio commentary available from Marky and Co. No visual iFollow, though. Otherwise, BBC Radio London, if they are covering it. The Beeb made a point on their Sport App for the 3rd Round ties, how you could get coverage, somewhere or other on the BBC, of all ties (individually).

BT have selected this game to broadcast and paid for it so they’ll not going to allow it to be broadcast through other channels.
I think ifollow is purely an EFL endeavour so you wouldn’t get FA Cup games on there anyway

Different rules - I suspect there will be another round of testing before the game so if all are negative then the players can play. Otherwise we will have to stick out the yoof..
Oh and it's 10 days I think anyway..

Bought a Sky monthly for boro. Rip off. Just have to be Everton.
If you have Sky you now can get BT Sport as part of the standard sports package (rather than having to buy it through BT separately). I was able to add it on without increasing my monthly Sky subscription.

Managed to 'borrow' a friends BT Sport login details - can download the app to a SMART TV and watch it that way
Just had a look back over the emails. I was on a month to month agreement at the time and went to an 18 month agreement at same price and they added BT Sport. Apologies, but if you are near your renewal date or not in a fixed term contract you can squeeze it out of them with the usual threats etc. without paying any more (or much more) than you do now.

I was fortunate - I brought my wife a new iPhone and we got BT sports 6 months free. Good for the cricket currently.

Watched the Boro game on FA Player. Just checked back to the OS and it said iFollow audio was available. Presumably because not live on TV? The club will, no doubt, advise nearer the time how the match can be seen or heard, apart from the live coverage on BT Sport (which I don't have).

As it is televised and FA Cup it won't be on iFollow as there is a PL team involved - it was only available for Boro as there were 2 EFL teams playing. I think it will either be BT Sport or Radio London...

Now I think of it, I bought Sky for Bournemouth. This getting confusing now. So FA Cup is not on FAplayer. How sustainable is this jiggery-pokery? Strange times.

To be fair ive found that they've had a decent amount of games on. When i had Sky i really missed the Champs League.

I think the games that aren’t on BT are not on FA Player. Nothing particularly unusual about it
The FA Cup is slightly different in that the FA have announced they are comfortable with clubs playing weaker squads by requesting anyone with 14 eligible players to play their matches. They know there is a chance the competition could be seriously behind if too many matches get delayed and at risk of not finishing so they are choosing to compromise the quality (which clubs would have done anyway) to stay on track.
The EFL have not taken the same stand therefore the threshold for cancelling an EFL game is much lower than an FA Cup game. It's very likely Luton doesn't go ahead and that we play with youth players against Leicester even if we would have cancelled Swansea if it has been on the same day.

Yep. Of course the different in our case is that we mixed the first team and B squad last Saturday which may mean the virus spreads throughout the B squad as well. Whereas I expect Villa’s youth team were kept well apart from the first team squad.
Id be surprised if either the Luton or Leicester games make it, TBH

We mix the squads by design and we celebrate when a B-teamer makes the first team. I doubt Villa were expecting much more than to see 1 or 2 Youth team members to make the bench for a meaningless game or 2 this season.

I think the Luton game is some doubt for sure but I wound be amazed if the Leicester game is

Seems that Sky are doing deals for existing customers, i went on their website and as part of the sports package you can add Sky Sports and BT Sports as multi buy and it works out the same price as having Sky Sports on its own, I rang Sky as I was coming to the end of my 18 month contract and the price was going to increase and I explained to the guy I spoke to that I found a better deal on their website and he matched it, so I now have BT Sports included for the same price as what I was paying for just Sky Sports before, he gave me the impression that they were giving the deal to existing customers, so maybe an idea to give Sky a ring to see if they will add it on for you.
