Weve tried to park the bus stop and almost made it to half time, whenever an oppurtunity has presented itself (rarely) bryan has had the touch of a trampoline. Pretty flat game, the opposite of the cracker at lionel.

Someone needs to tell Fernandez he can come off his goal line, the 6yd box is his. All 3 defenders are looking around & haven't a clue if he's coming out or not. Every team know now just put it in the box & we will gift them a chance. Got to get Raya back or play Lossl. Defensive confidence starts with the keeper & we have zero.

One crumb of hope is that Liverpool are sometimes vulnerable at the back, it's just a question on whether we can capitalise on their frailties. Alexander-Arnold, Matip and van Dijk have shown in recent weeks how disjointed and incoherent they can really be if attacked.

The thing I’ve figured from the match day threads is that some people only post when we’re losing and others act in bad faith.

Most people are just frustrated that we've "match" Liverpool and absorbed the pressure looked dangerous in moments. And threw all that away on a very poor set piece defensively. What's wrong with being frustrated? No one is saying we are crap. We've been one bit of qaulity away from scoring so close.

We've worked hard out of possession but very poor in it. Ivan again looks very laboured up top. BM gets in good positions but final touch isn't there. Vitaly has been finding some good attacking positions on occasion but too often our distribution is awry.
Just as it looks as though we have frustrated them poor defending at the back post & we conceded the simplest of headers. No fault attached to Alvaro who has done
well. Wing backs have been good defensively but seldom offered any support offensively.
Let's keep in it & see if TF can work the magic with the subs. Sergi for an injury time equaliser? Moss has been bloody awful....

Watching on NBC.......good save by Alvaro but Ivan was last defender !
Ivan and Bryan are isolated as we do not have a player pushing into final third, Liverpool are picking it up everytime.
Also noticible, we head it all the time out of defence and midfield,giving the ball away.
Norgard got it on his chest,got it down and laid off for a run.

Statistically, if a team only has 25% of the ball, the oppo are always more likely to have chances and score.

It's gone as I expected, but Liverpool haven't been particularly good. We rely on the odd breakout to score.

We really need to either change formation or get midfielders with more pace and accuracy. Games regularly pass our midfield by.
