That was a total shambles and Embarrassment, Thomas now needs to start getting to grips with goals we seem to be giving away.

But my anger at 2nd and 3rd goals is surely allowed
I don’t think the 2nd goal was that bad tbh but the 3rd was just embarrassing. I don’t think there will be any complaints about being angry at how bad that was.

We look devoid of confidence and belief in what we are doing.

Baptiste being subbed was a shocker.

The keeper and formation isn’t working

I don’t want to come across doom and gloom but I think we may miss out on top 4 after this. There. I said it.

Our first-half display was more or less effective.

However, shooting yourself in the foot beggars belief.

We have made defensive errors.

Shocking by Pinnock and Alvaro.

Think we need to back to basics. Need to switch formation as Toney is getting nothing all day long, Mbeumo is struggling to trap a bag of cement, and we are so stupid on our left defensively.

I'm not worried about losing against Liverpool away but our complete lack of a goal threat in recent games is a bit of a worry. You can only get away with it if you have a rock solid defence and we have lost that for the moment.

Getting worried about the goal difference now, which could prove to be vital at the end of the season.

Lets hope it doesn't turn into 5 or 6 nil. Would be a huge damage to confidence. As others have said this game and the Man Utd game are free hits. Its the home game against Crystal Palace that becomes a must win or must get points from. Given the way Wolves are playing we would also do well to get points from that.

Think we have made an off form Liverpool look good today. Delighted we're not playing Tranmere etc etc but we need to start improving our performances soon.

So a left hook from VVD on Noorgard is just a 'midfield bump' .!!!!!! It would have been a straight red if it were the other way round .....

As a supporter for 61 years I will always be behind the team.

But my anger at 2nd and 3rd goals is surely allowed
Ive supported them for about 78 years. All I want is for us to be in the Premier next season. Its progress and we can buy better quality players.
Not worried about losing at Liverpool. Most teams do.
We will be ok.

Alvaro was having a good game up until then, I must admit I would start Lossl against Man Utd
I think TF was right to back Alvaro after Tuesday but there appears to be a real disconnect between GK and defence and that needs to be urgently addressed.

Toney seems to be deployed deep, then we play long. Don't get it.

I agree. It’s not he’s that bad but the defence have no confidence in him. Will he come, will he pass etc. He has been in the team long enough now. Time Lossul

Yep, he's actually saved 3 1 on 1's this game. Is obviously a very good shot stopper but the connection isn't there. I also think Ajer needs to find form too.

playing devils advocate CM comes short for it inviting the pass... he could have just smashed it long. I'll have to rewatch it again, but if CM comes calling for it.... both to blame.
Agree, ish. But after the 2 sh*te passes in our box, the ball needs to go before even attempting a third

Think we should try a different formation in the next games. I know this is against Liverpool, but we’ve been a lot worse compared to the beginning of the season in the last few games
Agree. 532 was used to make us hard to score against. Not only is that not working anymore, but our midfield is dominated every game, not just today. Attackers feed off scraps and no shots on target today.

Yes, silly mistakes today and midweek, but the more ball we give away, the more pressure we invite, which means statistically, there will always be more probability of mistakes at the back.

I will have to say Fernandez not had a bad game, Roerslev done OK. Norgaard and Janelt struggled to contain Liverpool. And if we ever see Canos at left wing back again it will be too soon.

Listening on 5 Live only heard Wissa mentioned once and that in passing,
I’m an eternal optimist but I can’t honestly remember seeing Wissa touch the ball. I also think that’s a reflection of our performance generally rather than Wissa’s since he came on.

Still don't understand Bryan going off. Can anyone explain the logic?
Thomas realised his 3-4-3 went completely wrong so switched back to normal formation… except Toney is un-substituteable by looks of things… so Bryan sacrificed
