Yeah, we did the same eventually. I have to say the drive out of Liverpool was one of the most tortuous I’ve ever experienced!

Our sat nav redirected us to go right, which was clear, left was gridlocked….we went left, 1hr 40min later we got out of Liverpool

Yeah, we went right and cut through some backroads but it was still a massive pain

Virtually the whole day on a train there and back thanks to Sunday train crap and engineering works blah blah blah etc etc…….it was like the good old days !!!

Same, we managed to get two pints in the Crown after the game but other than that, it was all about trains and taxis and sitting on our arses

I paid to park in Asda Walton and recommend for the Everton games. Wasn’t that much traffic getting out after.

I was a couple of roads away from the kop end and I was back on the m62 in 15/20 minutes

My mate is Liverpool season ticket holder and advises the North Liverpool academy:

All good mate. Yes park at the North Liverpool academy. It’s only £8 it’s a ten minute walk to the ground. It’s very safe. It’s normally open about 3 hours before kick off. Most other car parks are closer are more money and no better. It’s busy getting out but everywhere is. Once you’re in your car you’ll need to turn left out of the car park to get out. But once you’re in your car you are warm and dry it’s just a bit of a que.


He didn’t define ‘bit’…

I can confirm that the definition of 'bit' in this case is approximately a 1 hour wait in you car

North Liverpool Academy, it took a good 45 minutes to get out of the car park..then crawled all the way to the M62

I did and said the same as we walked past, everyone was waiting on almost everyone else to get out

We parked in St Domingos which was near the North Liverpool Academy and we went left as well....what a bad choice that was

Wasn't much further than where I parked but to be fair I didn't hang around to clap the team and jogged back to the car lol didn't want to queue
