Get on the Just Park app there was loads of safe driveways with 5 star reviews from football fans a couple of weeks ago. It’s the way to go if you drive to away gamesGoing to make it another weekender, but dare I drive with the hope of finding somewhere safe to park.
Last I heard they play in a different city from Liverpool

Advanced fares increase the more that are sold. But won't affect us as not the same train
But not to somewhere else! We are buying tickets to Liverpool and they are buying tickets on a completely different route and travelling in a different direction.

if you have more than one set of fans travelling on the same line ( these 2 aren't ) there are less cheap tickets to go around

Hotel prices in central Liverpool for the Sat are very steep. At least £170 for a room at Prem Inn!
got mine sorted, £13, 10 minute walk to the away end

Find it odd that there are no tickets on sale yet - usually 3 months in advance on most routes. I am slightly OCD so want to have everything sorted well in advance

Word of warning if you are planning to stay Saturday night in Liverpool - the hotel prices are exorbitant - but currently half the price on the Friday night for a pre match overnight.

Got mine for £55/night but outside of the city centre so depends on whether you want to pay more for city centre or are prepared to meander in before/after the game. Think my hotel is only 2.5 miles from Anfield so no issues there

Christmas gifts are probably driving up prices; I know a lot of Liverpool fans in Ireland like to travel over in January so I'm not surprised the hotels are expensive especially for a Saturday 3pm game.

Let's see what Avanti come up with when they finally release their advance tickets.
The split ticket you mention is the very slow train I mentioned in post 1. It doesn't even need to be booked in advance so would be a good backup (unless you have found something a lot cheaper than £49.10 adult).
Or maybe you are suggesting waiting for the advance ticket and splitting your journey. Will certainly try that when the time comes!

Yeah, the bold was what I meant,although the crawler trains are another option for the hardy traveller. More train time = more #cans.

That’s been like that for few weeks. That’s an off peak return not advance singles with restrictions on which train you board.
Still good price though with discount.
