Get on the L&C!If we’re just posting random and meaningless photos of our ‘journeys’ today, here’s the Waitrose at Warwick Services. It stocks three types of hummus (Classic, Lemon and Coriander, and Red Pepper).
Hope this helps.

It’s a good question. But has it actually been confirmed? Or just a “train rumour”. And where did they wash their hands?!Alright who shat in the sink on the 8 47?
This train seems to be 90% Brentford![]()

It’s a good question. But has it actually been confirmed? Or just a “train rumour”. And where did they wash their hands?!
Its not a rumour. The toilets been closed and the train manager reported it to the office as she walked past me!
Nothing, compared to ER bogs on a hot day.Its not a rumour. The toilets been closed and the train manager reported it to the office as she walked past me!
Simple drive M5>M6>M62 brunch in a local cafe, ready to roll.
Don’t tell anyone but I usually go for Classique Nouveau with added olive oil.Which flavour did you go for? Pressed Dark Fruits and Apple?![]()
North Liverpool Academy is £8 and about 20 minutes walk to Anfield so not much more to Goodison. But it shuts an hour after the end of the game so you may need to get your skates on after!
Will probably be doing the same for Everton.
Out of interest, where are you parking?
3hrs 45 with a 15 minute stopDoesn’t mean jack but if it was now, Liverpool to Heathrow 3hr 40min. M6, M40.
We were scheduled to go via Northampton. That was forgotten about so we had to wait at Rugby3hrs 45 with a 15 minute stopchampagne moment
Was ok I thought apart from the 18 miles of average speedM6 is always sh*t on a Sunday evening Birmingham bound,
Obviously just me every time I drive back from IrelandWas ok I thought apart from the 18 miles of average speed
Ellencliff Drive, about 15 mins (fast) walk but the opposite direction to Goodison.
Will probably be doing the same for Everton.
Out of interest, where are you parking?
Bit weird but I like it (I think )By the way everyone, @rebus is a proper gentleman, gave a random kid off the GPG a free lift there and back as a random act of kindness, good conversations, good banter and good advice too, thank you very much mate. Great day out, I won't forget this.
Thank your mate for the recommendation. My mate is Liverpool season ticket holder and advises the North Liverpool academy:
All good mate. Yes park at the North Liverpool academy. It’s only £8 it’s a ten minute walk to the ground. It’s very safe. It’s normally open about 3 hours before kick off. Most other car parks are closer are more money and no better. It’s busy getting out but everywhere is. Once you’re in your car you’ll need to turn left out of the car park to get out. But once you’re in your car you are warm and dry it’s just a bit of a que.
He didn’t define ‘bit’…
Virtually the whole day on a train there and back thanks to Sunday train crap and engineering works blah blah blah etc etc…….it was like the good old days !!!![]()
Anyone that puts up with my driving and conversation for ten hours needs a medal! Good to meet you mate.By the way everyone, @rebus is a proper gentleman, gave a random kid off the GPG a free lift there and back as a random act of kindness, good conversations, good banter and good advice too, thank you very much mate. I can 100% confirm it was true coach a bog .It’s a good question. But has it actually been confirmed? Or just a “train rumour”. And where did they wash their hands?!

Yeah, shame on me for that as it deserved to be!I notice it's not in the Champagne moment thread though![]()
Yeah, we did the same eventually. I have to say the drive out of Liverpool was one of the most tortuous I’ve ever experienced! We turned right, instead of left out of the car park, thus avoiding most of the queue and then left which missed most of the traffic out. Think I’ll park there again if we go back![]()
