Based on the fact that BHA tickets went on sale yesterday, (just less than 3 weeks from the game) can we assume that tickets for this one are likely to go on sale on Monday 6th September?
Or will they be available earlier, as Members TAPs will need to be used?

This was on the OS

Home Premier League Match Tickets will typically go on sale approximately 6 weeks before the scheduled game (with the exception of our August fixtures). Home games will be either Category A or Category B based on the opponent we are facing.

Its 3 pm this week !!! It was 2pm last week

LIVERPOOL AT HOME

Saturday 25 September, 5.30pm kick-off

My Bees Members with 1100 + TAPs: Tuesday 31 August, 3pm (one per person)

My Bees Members with a lower TAPs threshold (lower TAPs threshold TBC dependant on demand): Thursday 2 September, 3pm (one per person, subject to availability)

All My Bees Members: Monday 6 September, 3pm (one per person, subject to availability)

100 of these Match Tickets will be available to purchase at the Box Office only. 100 Match Tickets will be offered in pairs via an under 18 Lucky Dip (similar to the process we successfully operated at the 2021 Championship Play-Off Final and our home Arsenal fixture). Successful Members will be contacted by the Box Office to buy two Match Tickets (including one for a parent/guardian Member).

More importantly, it was 950 TAPs for Arsenal, now it's 1100.

More TAPs have been awarded, I guess.
Yes, but not 150. I've been to both home games and yet I am now 6 TAPs short of being able to get a ticket! I guess they're expecting higher demand for this one, but also doesn't bode well (for me, personally!) for the other higher demand matches :cautious:

Not that many, though
Maybe an influx of new memberships sold who had high TAPS.
30 for FGR, 30 for Villa, 20 for WHU&VAL preseason, 10 for Arsenal, Palace I'm not sure, 20?
Wolves I'm assuming similar to Villa, and 10 for Brighton.. But that's 150 available since Arsenal tickets went on sale. Although Wolves and Brighton games won't be added by the time these Liverpool ones are released 🤷🏼‍♂️

...and yes Wolves is 30, but as you say not added by time Liverpool go on sale.

And Palace's 15 shouldn't affect the threshold as only the top 200, say, members had the chance to get those.

Is it possible that more segregation is needed for Liverpool therefore fewer seats?

Why more than Arsenal? I think the segregation takes out c 250 (me counting the other night). Is our match day capacity 17.25k less 0.25 for segregation = 17k? Has Covid restriction in DO area reduced that?

I forgot the Oldham game, maybe that's planned as an extra 30 too?
Oldham game TAPs won't be credited until 3 days before L'pool......

🤦🏼‍♂️ Trying too hard to find sense in the decision.

OK, here's my (latest) theory: they've added all possible TAPs from the Arsenal to the Liverpool game.

Instead, they should add all possible TAPs from the Arsenal game to when the Liverpool game goes on sale, as nobody can have been credited with Brighton etc. by then.

Away TAPs from sellouts like Palace should be excluded when calculating the threshold whereas Villa's should count because they went to GS.

I think the Corporate and Other Freebies allocation is much higher as its Liverpool on a Saturday compared to Arsenal on the Friday

So there are less tickets available to Members and as a result TAPS are higher

It’s still 50% of member ticket allocation having no TAP requirements right?

Members with 1100+ TAPs = Tuesday 3pm
The next round is Thursday 3pm

Announced on a match day (yesterday) and didn't see anything from the club's Twitter about this....part of me wonders if the club are happy not to be drawing the attention of thousands of Liverpool fans to our ticketing arrangements - particularly with memberships still available to buy.

Hopefully the club will tier the TAPS points to prevent any away fans getting tickets for A grade games . Needs to be a stepping stone decrease down to say 150 TAPS points before going to all members.

Arsenal game went from 800 points and then to anyone with membership which gives any away chancers just as much of a shot as someone who has followed us for a few seasons.

As much as I may agree I can't see them changing how they will do it this season, as they have already communicated how tickets would be sold and people have bought memberships on this basis.

It's a difficult one, as the club want to encourage new supporters, but don't want away fans coming into home areas.
Is there anyway BFC can monitor which games members apply for?
Say if a member only applies for games against a particular club.
Probably not workable, and another level of admin.

True but there is still room for manoeuvre with taps tiers though with grade A games.

They will certainly have the data to do this in future to prevent eg someone that only attends Liverpool at home each season, but I wouldn't expect it to help this season.

I mentioned in one of the TAP threads that they could have insisted that you had to have say 50 taps to access a category A game, so that you have to demonstrate some loyalty at cat B games / cup games /away games, but that is not the policy they've announced so don't expect that to happen this season. It'll be 1100 taps, then a lower threshold for leftovers, then all members on 6th September.

The second half are held back for a free for all Members

They still need to abide by the fact that 50% of tickets go to all members though, so there will always be that mad scramble for the final few tickets for the games against more well known teams. It's a hard balancing act as you need to encourage new and younger fans the chance of getting a ticket to one of the more illustrious games but don't want to open that up to away fans getting in. I don't think it will ever be perfect

They have all the data of who attended what game for the last 4 seasons. Analysis of data to extract information such as "Who attended the Liverpool match last season and no other matches" would be pretty simple to obtain.

Lots of selling websites gather data on log ins and incomplete purchases so even before we’ve had a game to get the “has only attended matches against Liverpool” data we could probably see “who hasn’t even tried to buy for any other game”.
