All good to hear. Hope we have a video to watch, sooner or later.
One small gripe. The report on the OS - noticed this before on B team reports - is always written as eg "the fourth goal would be...", rather the fourth goal was...". Everything in the report "would be" rather than "was". In other words, it seems that any match action might have happened, instead of that it actually did. I know it's the author's style, and preferences and all that, but it grates a bit with me. However, I'm not an English Scholar...!

Ta. I might have got a little over-excited with actually getting out and watching live football, but he did look v promising.. fingers crossed

YES! obviously it's just one game but he looks like he's got all the right attributes.. He's got the energy of a young Sergi but he also seems to have the final product and decision making.. He's only been here a couple of weeks but looked like he'd been playing with us for months the way he was linking up with the rest of the team. If he can keep that up and we can improve him then we've got a hell of a prospect. And he's only 18...
Great report. Appreciate you writing it up.

As we don't play typically with a Number 10, where would you see his attributes fitting in the First XI's usual 4-3-3 line-up? Up top, or one of the wider players? Or in the Marcondes role?

He played mainly as a right sided winger in Iceland I think. I think we changed up formation last night due to lack of midfielders, although potentially that's a system we may end up playing in the first team with Ghoddos preferring a no.10 role..

Oh, one more player who deserves a mention was Balcombe. Had a great game, made some fantastic saves and distribution looked much improved..

This is great to hear. When he disappeared from the Under 21's there was a worry that he was injured again.

Distribution better than Daniels and heading towards Raya?

Could he make first team?

Great to hear! Sounds as if he is quite a prospect, concern is that he is not our player. I assume his loan is a straightforward loan without any right to buy. Should your enthusiasm be shared by the club then best we get him signed up quickly to a long contract.

Apparently, good news then as .... per OS 5 Oct : BFC confirm the signing of Valgeir Valgeirsson for Brentford B on a loan deal until the end of the 2020/21 season, with an option of a permanent transfer from Icelandic side HK Kópavogs.

Ta. One thing I forgot to mention was that we only had three subs.. No sign of either Maghoma or Hammar which I guess means they're with the first team squad...

Mogensen is out for a while.

The PNE and Bees supporters attending the Corinthians last week may have been attending legally (although definitely not in the spirit of allowing small club loyal attendance)
Sorry, i have no idea what you mean by this, the match wasn’t sold out so no “small club loyals” missed out?

And Cor-Cas welcomed quite a few new spectators, plenty of whom (myself included) will go again...

think i've seen mentions but not really seen official acknowledgment re: Gustavo. that's a real pity - he was starting to look very good, and i was hoping he might go on loan this season to make the next step...

OMG Brentford have royally screwed the Icelandic team the same way West Ham have screwed Brentford over the Benrahma transfer. Or maybe its a new normal

Same here. Been twice this season now. It’s not stopped anyone else going. And I’ll definitely go again. So all extra income for them.

Missed the point, legal but socially irresponsible especially the PNE fans travelling down. Congregating in crowds is a definite no no in this pandemic crisis.

“Congregating in crowds...” sorry but I think you are overreacting here. There was an attendance - outdoors - of 417 in a ground that holds 2,000. There was no lack of social distancing... just people trying to act as normal as possible in these mad times.
