I suppose we have depth in this area. But Luke Jephcott, who can play anywhere across the front line, has 15 goals in 21 apps this season for League One Plymouth. Only 20 years old. You’d take a look wouldn’t you.

Surely Championship-bound, just a question of where he goes.

I can see Jephcott and Baah coming on to close the game out.
I used to watch him last season at Truro City in the Southern League. Plymouth called him back due to injuries, and the rest as they say is history. Scoring at will at the moment. His confidence is absolutely sky high, but so will be the fee that Plymouth will want.

Thanks for copying my suggestion from weeks ago ;) - I'll let you off as I didn't create a separate thread. I agree though - was talk of Huddersfield being very interested but they have signed someone from Boreham Wood yesterday and apparently wouldn't pay the asking price.

Might be worth signing and loaning back for remainder of season so he carries on getting minutes

Plymouth have signed a striker today .Is he on his way out
Reading the very long suffering Chris Errington on the arrival, I'd say probably not. The new guy looks like a prospect that Ryan Lowe (Argyle manager) believes he can develop for the future. Striker Niall Ennis signs two-and-a-half year deal with Plymouth Argyle - Plymouth Live (plymouthherald.co.uk)

The key for Argyle is to at least stay up this season and they had a pretty nasty wobble recently. They are not properly out of it yet. I suspect it would take pretty big money to get them to sell Luke Jephcott. They are nowhere near as desperate for cash as they were, say, five years ago and Simon Hallett, their US based owner, seems a decent and fairly well loaded genuine fan. He bought the club a couple of years ago.
