Solid defender. Pretty much a valuable player for any Championship squad.

Think you’d be worried at PL with his lack of pace but if he is still young. If he can continue to develop his reading of the game (which has vastly improved since joining) that can be less of an issue.

I’d not be worried to see him start a league game. That’s good enough for now given that there’s not a current vacancy.

Very dominant again tonight, as against Southampton. Apart from a couple of very dodgy passes vs WBA he's looked the part.
Agreed. He could well be challenging for first team starts before long. I think he has something extra to his game than Goode and will continue to improve.

Improving all the time, seems to have shed some timber and looking the better for it.

Bumped into him coming out of the Express after the game (me, not him :king:). What a nice young man. Another credit to the club.
What he popped in for a quick 4 Litres?

Good, solid game. As said above I wouldn't be concerned if he played a league game in absence of one of the CB's. We're very well stocked in this position at the moment.

I always wonder if these very good B teamers are going to get that little bit needed for a challenge at this level and this guy is answering the questions. This cup run is sooo good for this squad.

I thought he was my MOM. Delt with the Fulham attacks well, won his duels and played the ball out well.

Really pleased for him and partnered Pinnock really well. He has grown so much and I think the loan at Wimbledon was exactly the right thing last season

Agree with most of that. Except...

...off topic, but that's quite an early judgement on Goode, isn't it?

Dalsgaard and Frank full of praise for Mads after last night.. With Pontus potentially out, could he be the next B team player after Mepham to get substantial minutes for the first team? He certainly looks ready..
