Do away fans get all 3 tiers of the stand at Citeh?

Must be 3-4K tickets if we do. Plus plenty of empties in the home stands like the majority of their home games.

2 safe standing tickets bought as members. Wonder how many signed up for this game... I wasn't expecting to be in the top 200!

All games are 3000 max unless capacity is less than 30k then it is 10% of capacity

1500 TAPs from today at 2pm. Seems like not a great take up so far. Midweek away on the TV....

That is what they are required to provide. ie 3000 or 10% is the minimum. Clubs can offer more, they just tend not to if they know the home end will sell out.

I do not know whether Man City regularly / ever give more than the minimum, but it is well documented that they do not have the same demand for tickets as other big clubs. A weeknight against tinpot Brentford live on TV they might sell more tickets by enlarging the away end a bit.

Safe standing ticket purchased today. I know it's midweek and on tv, but I really hope we can still fill up our section and provide the great backing the team will need that night.

Not too fussed if we don't sell 3000 or not for this one. Obvious reasons as to why some might give this one a miss. 800 safe standing in the lower tier might not look pretty but will make more than enough noise to make up for it :bounce:

We're not going to take 3,000 up there though. A Saturday fixture would have been a different story.

Safe standing is now sold out.
Good support…that’s nearly a thousand sold in there plus the ones who’ve gone for seats above already….we won’t have less than 2k that’s for sure…I reckon nearer 3k by 3 weeks time…even new Brentford will be getting involved…in the top tier though 👍😂😂😂

What are the chances of this getting down to the 1000 taps range?

If you are talking about just 1000 TAPs for members then there is no threshold for members - it will go to all members for away games if not all sold.

Might have been a system issue, safe standing still available when I logged in just now.
Maybe. My dad got "the last two" safe standing in his basket at 5 30pm yesterday and let them go because we wanted 4 together and the flexibility to add a member who is buying later.
If there's still some there now I reckon it's the final few but I can't be sure. I can't see the options anymore as my own allocation has been purchased.

It'll be interesting to see what happens to these away attendances next season.

They fell off a cliff after our first season in the Championship...

I think next season away attendances will be much more related to our performance on the pitch. If we’re doing well, they’ll be high, obviously. If we’re doing badly, they may stay high as there’ll be a “last chance to see” element among us as a generally fatalistic lot. If we’re a bit meh, the marginal away fans who never used to travel much and who’d already had their trip to Anfield etc this season might not bother again.

Got an email from the club saying tickets on sale at 1400 - Assuming it's for ALL STHs at this stage.

I'd agree; away days are expensive as well and whilst there might be a group making an effort this season as it is year one in the PL I think that group will pick and choose away days next season. I've loved the away days this season but I'd be one of the group unlikely to commit to at least 19 away days next season, purely on finance to be honest; compared to the Championship everything around a PL away day is expensive.

Is anyone else having trouble with trying to purchase tickets for this game this afternoon?
