Could so easily have given it to Harlee again for his outstanding handling of the difficult Wood, or Ryan for another fantastic performance but have gone for Romaine who put in possibly his best performance in a Bees shirt and did things with the ball which were worth the entrance money on their own.

Harlee absolutely dominated Wood and gave us the platform to play superbly further forward, MoM for me.

Once again, the whole team, but Harlee Dean for me. An outstanding captains performance at the back.

For me Romaines positional reading of the game and his looking for the unusual has always been his stand-out quality. I haven't got words to describe his ball skills. It all came off tonight. I know Harley has put some match-winning performances in before, but last night he really took his leadership to another level. Can't see him looking back. Romaine, though.

Harlee was colossal - and gets my vote for player of the season - but last night was Sawayers' night.

Romaine Sawyers for me, with a special mention to my player of the season, Harlee Dean

Went for Woods but Bentley didn't put a foot wrong all night and had a lot of clearances to make when they were pressing hard.

10 out of 10 for everyone, with just a few exceptions: Jota 9.5 (picky, I know, but not at his best); Harlee and Ryan get 11 for mountainous performances; but Romaine scores 11.5 for vision, imagination and cheek. Never flustered on the ball under pressure, and the accuracy, timing and, above all, weight of his forward passes was, without exaggeration, world class.

Special mention for Rob Green, who also scores 11 out of 10, acknowledged by some of their fans too, apparently.

Harlee shaded it but happy to see more votes from others for any of the following who were outstanding last night : Woodsy, Sergi or Romaine

Special mention for Rob Green who showed why he was good enough to represent his country once as he was superb.

This is the one I've been waiting for.

Harlee was immense last night, and should win this by as large a margin as Green is winning it for them.

Dean just ahead of Woods for me. Sawyers and Vibe also excellent and others played very well

Harlee for me.

Possibly the most imperious display of central defending that I've ever seen from a Brentford player - and I saw Terry Evans, Hermann and Ivar play....
