Tough one. Dan Bentley kept us in the game to be honest. Yoann and Harlee did well as a CB pairing. Rico was excellent once again. Ryan, certainly grown into a better player these past few months. Romaine, oozes quality. Jota, everything positive you can say about the man.

Decisions, decisions......... Dan Bentley. :)

Hard one to call as Woodsy, Romaine, Barbet and of course the best player in the league senor Jota were all superb but Woodys shades it for me...

Woods for me. Totally immense today. Great performances from DB, YB, HD, RS, RH and the one and only Jota

Have same dilemma as those above. Am going for Barbet for a goal, a goal-saving header, an assured defensive display and some sublime passing.

What happened to Harlee on the poll? Why has he been cut down to size? Has he been excluded today to give the others a chance? Or is he now so good he has become 'har' in the same way that Jota became Jota?

All sorted. It's difficult getting in the right staff this evening. HD reduced to "har". Shaibu had an extra "o". Jozefzoon spelt with an "s". A training refresher has been booked for the poll starter. Apologies on behalf of the GPG. :)

Sawyers or Jota, for the third goal I've gone for Jota.

Jota for his second goal and the way he made Bidwell look so poor, Woods for his shear bloody tenacity but my choice is Sawyers whose performance today was outstanding for 90 mins, his ball control was at times ludicrously good

I'm with you. Although I'd have gone for Bentley otherwise - solid throughout, and two very important saves in the first half.
Yeah but we don't want to be naming our keeper as MOM every week, do we? That's psychologically damaging. Makes it sound like backs to the wall. lol

Chaps, I'm in drink but if anyone doesn't vote for Jota after that 3rd goal I give up.
If that was Messi they'd be showing it on loop, it was genius.
Sorry Romaine was class as was Woodsy as was virtually everyone but Jota is on different level.

Your very good health sir. You'll have to give up, by the way, as I voted Barbet. lol

Lots of great performances today. Woods, Bentley, Jota, Dean, Sawyers, everyone really. But had to go for Barbet cause the first goal was vital and he was heavily involved in a lot of key moments.

I voted Bentley because there were some ****ing worldie saves in there today. QPR on a different day with a different keeper could have won that today. Woods & Jota immense too.

Ooh, it's like watching the voting at Eurovision, is this. Knew it was going to be close, but fully expected the entry from France to be up amongst the leaders. Neck and neck between Spain, UK, and Saint Kitts and Nevis. Hang on, that one's not in Europe. Disqualification, unless it's the same Nevis as you get in Scotland. Just need Graham Norton to voice this over. Pardon my frivolity, just a little exuberant as I finally got round to renewing my ST via Zebra, and salivating at the prospect of home games of the calibre of those served up recently next season.

Woodsy quality, Dan Bentley two great saves, Romaine absolute class but FFS, look at the third goal again and again and again it's truly World class and on that alone Jota is MOM, change your votes you phillistines! :fishing:

I, Barbet is a super player but that third goal right in front of me is one of the best pieces of football I've witnessed in my 49 seasons at GP so you won't change my mind
It was very, very special. First touch of all players (apart from poor old Lasse!!) was incredible today, but Jota's was stratospheric. And the next defender, once Jake had melted into the ground, was so terrorised by Jota's speed and control, that he shat himself and surrendered. And then the finish... he just sweeps the ball into the net as if it's an inevitability.

All were great. I have gone for Barbet. Scored one and the nod off the line was as good as a goal. Great distribution as well.

Jake Bidwell:D

Mind you Jake you made the right choice, after all you could be fifth choice if you had stayed.

Voted Jota but if not him would have been Bentley for some world class saves. Plenty of other good performances too.

Another game where you could tell me any one of 6 or 7 players got the MoM and I couldn't really disagree. There were several notable displays and Romaine was VERY close for me but, if ever one moment of pure genius merited the MoM all on it's own, it was Jota for that second goal.

So many choices: Bentley, Woods and Jota all excellent, but have gone for Sawyers - the way he was creating space was superb

It was either Jota or Sawyers, but because of that special goal I must give it to Jota. On any other day Sawyers would have edged it.
